Super positive vibe! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s a busy little shop but very quaint, on my brief visit I saw all walks of life, people quietly conducting their business on laptops, friendly conversations going on… very Charlottesville! ❤️??☕️

Mudhouse (downtown mall location) is a nice coffee shop chain. Their mint mocha was nice - the mint was subtle and did not overpower the coffee or chocolate. The foam was great but there might have been a little too much more my preference, and the cute design in the foam really sealed the deal. Their classic brew had a nice medium flavor, not too dark or burnt and not watery like hotel or insta coffee. The chai was good, not bad, but not exceptional either. The crew was very nice and let us take time with our order, and the shop was nice and cozy.

Great vibe. Chill. Simple. Little hard to find with GPS. Park then walk down the Main Street promenade. Pricey. Golden Latte. Drink could have been hotter. Stayed there to enjoy. Uses unhealthy Oatly! Not a fan. Went for Almond milk instead. No soy milk. Didn't see gluten free. Unappetizing options in the case with no prices. Menu wasn't on the board.

This is such a great spot to grab a nice warm coffee & enjoy it, while walking around downtown. Decided to visit for the first time today and can't wait to return. Ordered a ginger latte from their seasonal menu and it was delicious. Service was expedient and friendly. The location itself is spacious. Highly recommend!

Some of the prices on the menu are wrong and have been for months, maybe longer. I order cafe au lait. Menu says 4/4.75/5.35. so I get a medium for here. They charge me 5.35 PLUS a surcharge for milk. I point out a cafe au lait has milk in it, obviously. Why would there be a surcharge? They confirm the surcharge it's correct. A cafe au lait is in reality over 6.50. Edit: the staff reached out to point out that indeed some of the prices are wrong, although my own calculations were also wrong. They reached out to apologize.

If I studied at UVA, this would be my go-to spot every day. The smell is what drags you in and the taste is what keeps you coming back... I first ordered their apple latte; however, they took it off because apple cider did not mix with the coffee, and they are trying to improve the recipe better. It is rather aspiring to see a business such as Mudhouse that makes it their priority to market the best of the best. Changing my order, I went with the maple and my mom got their basic Pumpkin Spice latte and we were both extremely pleased. Their pumpkin spice muffin was fabulous - so many seeds sprinkled on top!!

I got the pumpkin chai latte with oat milk. I forgot to ask for it to be dirty (shot of espresso) so my drink was expensive for a non-coffee drink but the flavor was really good! Good music, ambiance was decent. I like walking along the pedestrian mall, so the location is good too and the baristas were very friendly. If I lived here, I'd go back to check out more menu items!
