Nguyen's Kitchen

My family frequents Nguyen's Kitchen weekly. It is the only establishment we want to spend our money anymore because we never leave dissatisfied. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is incredibly kind. The space is small so there isn't much seating for dine-in service, but the food is so good we don't mind waiting for a table when they're busy.

What a wonderful surprise tucked into Charlottesville!

I came here for the first time today for lunch with my coworkers and ordered takeout. I was genuinely shocked (and very grateful) at how affordable the menu is. I ordered the bulgogi rice plate along with a chai boba tea—and after living coast to coast, I can confidently say this is the best boba I’ve ever had.

The food portions were huge, filling, and absolutely delicious. When I walked in to pick up my order, the smell of fresh meat and spices immediately hit you in the best way. The sweetest woman greeted me to take payment, and her warm smile made the experience even better.

I truly can’t recommend this place enough. It’s officially my new favorite spot!

What a fantastic find. By far the best Vietnamese vermicelli bowl I’ve had in C’ville. The pork was char-grilled perfectly and balanced well with the noodles and crisp salad of cucumber, lettuce, and Thai basil. The fresh rolls were an excellent complement to the meal along with the Thai iced-tea. I’ll be coming back for the Bahn Mi. Staff are super friendly as well. It’s a small joint with limited seating but I had the place to myself for an early lunch. If you’re looking for really good Vietnamese food, it is here!!

At the time of writing, a hidden gem on the Charlottesville restaurant scene. The Pho in particular is fantastic. The bubble tea is made in house, and comes with many choices and flavors. I would recommend the Thai Tea & regular boba. Lower sugar options are available. The price seems fair and the portions are good. Nguyen's kitchen is certainly worth giving a shot.

The service is friendly, and reasonably quick depending on the order. The atmosphere is very utilitarian. The seating consists of a few tables and chairs, so consider ordering for pickup.

The vermicelli bowl with chicken is fantastic, the pork egg roll addition is great, even if it's a little small. It's a lot of food, everything tastes fresh, it was very quick to order.
Not much space to eat inside and you probably wouldn't want to. Not that it's terrible or anything, just not much for dining space or atmosphere. But that doesn't matter because the food is still amazing.

Absolutely delicious! Limited seating but totally worth it, banh mi and pho were the best I've had since I was in Hanoi🇻🇳. Super super super yummy. I will be back soon and often 💪✌️👍

Whenever I'm in C'ville for work, this is a must stop. Killer vietnamese food with some Korean dishes as well. My favorite is the pork vermicelli dish. The staff is supernice with a good moderate price for the quality.

What really sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail. Every dish is beautifully presented, and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and happy to explain menu items or offer recommendations.

If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine made with fresh ingredients and served with heart, look no further. This place is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be back!

The vermicelli bowl was delicious! I thought I would have some to take home but ended up eating it all as it was so tasty. Definitely recommend.
