This is by far the best steak in town! Always consistent and the service is top notch.

We were 5 at a birthday dinner and ordered 5 different entrees, all very good. We shared and everyone agreed the lamb bourguignon was exceptional. The service was excellent, very attentive without being obtrusive. The setting was fairly attractive but the noise level was a problem at times. The deserts were fairly good but none were notable.
Wheelchair accessibility: One of us was in a power wheelchair and found the accessibility to be first rate.

This was our favorite restaurant experience while visiting in the Charlottesville area.
Interesting menu and excellent food and service. We’ll visit again when we are in the area.

Very nice vibe and good service. The beef and pork bolognese were very good. It’s a bit spicy, which made it unique. The lamb on the rotating menu was also tasty. Their baguette was awesome!!!

Orzo had delicious food and even better service. We came here for our first wedding anniversary and they were so kind to both wish us happy anniversary and even give us each a glass of prosecco! Highly recommend for celebrating special occasions or just to have a nice evening.

We went here to celebrate my husband's birthday. They had specials from France. He ordered the lamb bourguignon, which was delicious! I ordered the vegetarian risotto, which was good. The half baguette with butter and seasoned olive oil was fantastic!
They have a large wine menu, as well as craft cocktails and mocktails, so everyone should be able to find something they would enjoy. We both had cocktails, and they were terrific!
Service was excellent - very attentive but not intrusive.
Finally, my husband's leftovers were boxed in a sturdy container and labeled with the contents and the date, which meant that I didn't have to repack them when we got home.
We had a most enjoyable evening, and we definitely plan to return

I stopped in for dinner with a friend while on a hiking trip in the Shenandoah Valley area and was flabbergasted by how top notch everything was at orzo! The waitress recommended Grilled Duck breast (panko crusted crispy duck rillette, poached quince, sweet potato puree, quince syrup). We also order half of the fresh baked baguette with olive oil and I order a house cocktail called the Pasionaria. Everything was made with love with the freshest flavors and top notch customer service. This was my first time ordering grilled duck and I’m glad I met with the recommendation from our waitress. The restaurant was not too loud or packed but pretty diverse and welcoming overall. I will definitely return for dinner again next time I’m in town.

Enjoyed our visit to orzo. Some items to note: Limited menu offerings , on the more expensive side for pasta dishes . Smaller portion sizes overall.

As visitor from out of town, I went to Orzo with the simple intention of ordering takeout and enjoying a glass of wine at the bar while I waited. The host informed me they were “too busy” and directed me to place a mobile order outside instead of accommodating me inside. To make matters worse, I was told the bar was full despite seeing multiple open seats.
The entire interaction felt pretentious and condescending. For a place that supposedly prides itself on hospitality, I was left feeling unwelcome and disregarded. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend if you want to be judged. Disappointing and unprofessional attitude.

We only stopped in to split some small plates and a bottle of wine, but we wish we could have stayed to try just about everything on the menu. The halloumi was one of the best dishes we've ever had - we almost ordered another one after nearly licking the plate.
The staff were amazing, even with a high volume pop right as doors opened. We love seeing a staff working together like they did! All around incredible experience and if we weren't just in town for the weekend, this would easily be a regular spot for us.
