Ordered uber eats and asked for utensils in 2 places and got none. Got the pineapple fried rice and it was delicious with lots of cashews which I love (wish it had more tofu but the pieces I got were delicious)
Pineapple Thai is a gem in Charlottesville, possibly the best Thai spot in town! The flavors are vibrant and authentic, with each dish packed with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. From the spicy curries to the fragrant noodles, every bite was a delight. The servers were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home, adding to the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere. For anyone craving genuine Thai food with exceptional service, Pineapple Thai is a must-visit!

The curry egg noodles was super yummy!! Everything was decent. The pineapple fried rice was not in a pineapple, unfortunately. I also tried the duck curry which I enjoyed. The service was nice but a bit slow on a Saturday early evening. Parking was easy

A favorite in our house! We love the chicken panang, avocado rolls and papaya salad (they are all staples). It is good both in person and delivered.

So good every time! All of Kit Ashi’s restaurants are the same high caliber super yummy food. In a city that has such an incredible number of very good Thai restaurants to choose from, I will choose Pineapples again and again.
One of the male employees was super rude. Bad customer service. I don’t recommend getting the Thai iced tea!

I stopped for an early lunch on their patio. The eggplant with tofu was perfect. Love to see the fresh chilies. Really makes the dish.

Chicken Satay- Chicken not marinated well. Satay should be flavorful enough to eat on their own without needing to dip in peanut sauce.
Pineapple Fried Rice- Also bland. Pretty much rice, cashews, and bits of pineapple and protein. Maybe not enough curry powder used? The menu description is misleading.
Khao Soi- Pretty much my mistake. Menu description stated yellow curry sauce. However, normal Khao Soi base is not the same as yellow curry, but their version basically uses yellow curry.

The food was delicious. We love their “brown” rice, which is actually red rice and very tasty. It is a very good alternative to Monsoon Siam (which they also own but is often crowded and getting takeout or reservations there is hard)

Tried their Pineapple Fried Rice and Grilled Chicken over fried rice as Entrée. The pineapple one is their signature dish and it’s amazing. We tried the Mango Sticky Rice afterwards. Photo attached. Too good!
