The smoothie bowl was ok. I prefer Nautical Bowls because its 100% dairy free and no risk of cross contamination and their organic peanutbutter is made on site and thick and delicious

I had a great experience at Playa Bowls Charlottesville! Meme and Shawna were super friendly and really helped me choose the perfect base and toppings for my smoothie bowl. The bowl and my cold brew were both delicious. The restaurant is very clean with cute decorations and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Food is very good and worth the price, but the management is horrible. Light skin lady — reddish hair is very disrespectful. Always seems like she has an attitude when I come in. This other lady when I came in was recording a customer.. because he was coughing. Very unprofessional workers there.

I love my bowl and look forward to it every week. I came in this morning and the woman behind the counter accidentally made the wrong bowl (totally different base). I totally understand mistakes happen, and kindly and calmly mentioned the bowl that I ordered, even apologizing for the trouble. She gave me a nasty look, aggressively tossed the wrong bowl in the trash, and made the right bowl. I apologized again and thanked her. The whole situation felt awkward and super hostile. As a small business owner, I get that our people sometimes all have bad days - but I’d be embarrassed if my front desk ever acted that way at work. Yikes.

The person who took the order really didn't want be there. Also the acai was frozen and stiff.
Service was super fast and the bowl was super appealing. Server made sure to ask if I wanted a substitution for the ingredient I did not want. Perfect refreshing stop on a very hot day.

This was a nice treat but the dining room was so loud. The music was entirely too loud that I couldn’t hear my kids that well. The açaí bowls were good. Rather sweet and more icy than I’m used to. There’s seating outside so don’t let the noise deter you. I’m assuming the manager wasn’t around but I’m not sure.
