I really like these guys! We’ve been fans of Potters for years, back when they had a small trailer! Now, they’ve got a great location, cider and food! Highly Recommend!

There are a lot of great ciders along 29 and 151 but this is in the running for best. These aren’t those sweet bottles you find in the grocery store, dry and creative flavors. The food is great, I recommend the Cuban, it’s amazing. Grounds are vast and there’s a lot of live music there.

Awesome environment with unique pours. Wife and I shared a few different ciders over a game of battleship.

We were all excited to hear the live music and sit outside tonight, but were so disappointed that the piped in music was playing at the same time as the live music! Talk about confusion. We asked the server if the background music could be turned down/off but no one seems to ā€œknow how.ā€
Really? Very disappointing.

Perfect spot to come for a romantic evening. Lovely vibes. Flight for $15 was the only disappointment, pretty pricey for the amount you actually get

We LOVE Potter's! I discovered their ciders when I lived in Virginia Beach and I was SO happy when I realized we were moving near the cidery in Charlottesville. Their ciders are really varied, with lots of different flavors and fun combinations. We are particular fans of the petite cider - it's crisp and dry and we find ourselves reaching for it all the time at home. We also really loved the strawberry ginger, and they had one recently that was like a pet nat. I love that all the ciders are fresh and dry and not super sweet. They don't feel heavy or syrupy at all, like some others do.

Anyway - I could go on forever. But, the place is super cute. It's in an old renovated church up on a hill. There's tons of parking and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a great variety of snacks and some food (sandwiches and such). We try to get over there when we can, but we've always got a pack (or 3) of their ciders at our house.

Highly recommend. Just go!

My husband and I recently got married at Potter’s Craft Cider in Charlottesville, VA and it was an incredible experience. I knew that I wanted to get married at Potter’s the first time that I visited the venue as it is so beautiful (this was before my husband and I were even engaged). We had our ceremony and reception inside Neve Hall, which is stunning. The building used to be a Chapel, which was also very special for us as our relationship is grounded in our faith. The surrounding grounds of the venue are just as beautiful as the building, especially at night when lit with string lights.

We worked closely with Lauren (Potter’s Events Coordinator) throughout the planning process who was great! She helped me figure out all necessary logistics in the months leading up to the wedding. She was also present during our wedding day to ensure the event ran smoothly. This was very helpful as she had a good understanding of our wedding details having been so involved during the planning process. Our wedding involved a ā€œflipā€ of Neve Hall from ceremony to reception during cocktail hour. I was nervous this would be difficult to accomplish in such a short amount of time, but Lauren, the Potter’s staff, and some of our other vendors helped to ensure this transition was seamless and efficient. We were so happy with everything about our wedding day and so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate with our friends and family at Potter’s!

Lovely space on a dreary Sunday. There was a lively band playing people kept coming in, cider is delicious and they offer yummy nibbles to accompany their cider and non-alcoholic menu. Highly recommend a visit with a friend!

So cool. It's an old house that's been converted into a cidery. It has great outdoor seating, cool food and great cider. Lots of parking, too. It's really nice.

My GF and I stopped here as part of the Charlottesville Ale Trail to collect our stamp.
The outdoor space was remarkable and very large. We parked down the hill and walked up the path.
We ordered a flight of ciders and an order of hummus. I'm not typically a fan of Hummus, but this Hummus had amazing flavor and texture.
The staff were very kind and super helpful. I don't know everyone's names. They were all amazing. An emloyee, Ms. Deena was a wealth of knowledge, and we enjoyed very much speaking with her. We hope to stop in town again one day to visit.
