Pronto Pasta

The food is fast and decent, but be aware that this entity adds automatic 10% tips to your order if you pay on the phone or pay in person. They did this on my last 3 or more transactions. Some of which I also tipped in person (without knowing I was double tipping). The last time on the phone they asked me if I wanted to tip and I said no because the lady was rude and they still charged me a tip. I believe in tipping when the service is good, but when I pick my own order up it’s totally optional. I think it’s really shady that this entity does this and it should be illegal.

Best place for pasta hands down. Everything is made on site! Fresh! So delicious. I'm literally drooling as I'm writing this review. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Food was fast and delivery wasn't too expensive but the food is way worse than pasta you can make at home, I've literally had better cup ramen.

What's not to love about freshly made pasta? Ordering is easy: Choose your base pasta, decide on your dish (my favorite is cacio e pepe), and decide add-ons. Easy peasy. The Pronto menu also includes variations on mac and cheese, all of which are delicious.

The food is incredible, and the homemade tiramisu is orgasmic. Johnny Garver outdoes himself in the kitchen.

Service was fine and texture of the homemade noodles were good, but the Mac and cheese was pretty much a soup (edit: I guess there was a communication error. The response below says I requested extra sauce, but I don't remember saying so).My friends weren't high on their pastas either, except for one friend who swears by their linguine (edited: originally said fettuccine) and pesto.Including a 20% tip, we paid around $12-$14 per person.

I want to praise Pronto's customer service, especially Johnny, the manager. Johnny was extremely helpful and understanding. He was very attentive with our Doordash order and went above and beyond to fix our little food order. There are only a few places that show amazing customer service for Doordash takeout orders, and Pronto is one of them. Johnny spoke with us with professionalism and was quick to solve problems. As for the food, it was delicious. Thank you to the Pronto's staff.

Great food and service. The fresh pasta dishes were delicious and plenty. Highly recommend!

The staff is always friendly and the food is great, too.I use the Toast app to accumulate points like I do at other Corner restaurants, and Pronto by far has the best point system. There are lots of possibly flavor combinations and I love the fusilli pesto and sausage, linguini carbonara and shrimp, and the spaghetti aglio e olio and chicken, and my veggies of choice are mushrooms, tomatoes, and roasted sweet peppers. The pastas, tiramisu, and even the caesar dressing is made in house and I love that.

I had such a wonderful time at Pronto Pasta. I tried the Orecchiette pasta with Pesto and fresh tomatoes. The pesto tasted so fresh and the tomatoes were a pleasant addition of just enough sweetness. The cheese on to is such a nice aspect. I mixed mine in to add a little more creamy taste. Yum!

Would give this 0 stars, but the staff is nice and friendly, and for that they deserve a couple stars. The food is just not great :-( I’ve dined here on two occasions. The first, my pasta was bland and undercooked. The sauce was just eh. The second time, my girlfriend and I both got pasta that was SO SALTY we couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Even the cookies were subpar. Overall, overpriced and underwhelming. Really wish I didn’t regret the money I spent here :-(

I really really enjoy Pronto Pasta. The food here is really tasty especially if you enjoy good pasta dishes! The staff is friendly and welcoming! Considering them when visiting The Corner at UVA!
