01.28.25 The beginning of January we had our Wedding Welcoming Party at Random Row in lieu of a traditional Rehearsal Dinner. The outcome was exactly what we were hoping for. It was a laid back and fun environment where 80 of our guests were able to have great pizza and refreshments in a way that brought all of the different families and friend groups together. Cori and her staff from the planning stages until the end of the night couldn’t have been easier to work with and we had great reviews from everyone that attended. They all commented that it was exactly what they wanted and many of the people that were there that had more traditional Rehearsal Dinners for their weddings wished they had done something like what we did. Random Row allowed us to rent out the entire facility for 4-hours at a cost that was very affordable. There were some negotiations during the planning stages regarding costs and operations and even the few places that Random Row was not able to have much wiggle room there was always an attitude of “lets try to figure this out and make it happen.” With that said, they were amenable to most of our requests and budget limits. Without commenting too much on pricing and expectations because those conversations are always unique to each situation, Random Row afforded us 4-private hours and we paid for 2-hours of pizza, salad, olives, and an open bar with our guests opening tabs for the rest of the night. The cost was affordable for a middle-class couple and the experience was worth every penny. We live around the corner from Random Row and have been visiting them for years for a quick pizza and a beer. It has been one of our go-to neighborhood spots since we moved to Charlottesville. Luckily, no matter where we go, Random Row will be part of our wedding memories. Thanks again to Cori, her staff, and all of the folks that made that evening special. Joel Frank and Marie Thomas

Random Row hosted our wedding welcome party, and it was amazing! I reached out to Courtney a while ago about reserving the space, and she was great with communication and coordinating logistics. We chose to do it in their alleyway, and the weather, string lights, tables, awesome beer, and pizza really set the vibe. We were also able to bring our own decorations to spruce it up a bit and add our own touch. Our guests had such a fun time here, and it was one of our favorite parts of the weekend!

Was in Charlottesville for work. Saw this place on FB showing a nice vibe of beer and pizza. Decided to go today w my friend. Sat at the bar. Wasn't greeted by the bartender for 7 or 8 minutes. Never even acknowledged us. Bar was dirty and sticky. OldBeer glasses and snifters were sitting on the bar from previous patrons. Bartender just kept walking past us back and forth like we were invisible. The whole place was just weird and seemed mismanaged. I said to buddy let's GTF out of here and we left and went to another place. Very disappointed.

Obviously RR is the best, we all know this, but just a quick note that they are also EXCELLENT for events. We had our work holiday party here this year, and RR by far was the most affordable and straightforward venue we reached out to. They were very easy and kind to work with, helped us figure out what we wanted (and actually needed) for the event, and the whole thing went off without a hitch. Moreover, our team reached out incredibly last minute, and RR still got the event coordinated and on the calendar in about 36 hours. We often go with another place in town for events, but I’ll be pushing for everything to be at Random Row from now on. Thank y’all so much!!
