Selma, provided GREAT service with patience and understanding. She ensures that I received what I needed and let me enjoy the food even though they were closing soon.

There are also many great options on the menu!

I ordered the croissant sandwich, which was ~$7 but the sandwich was huge! I only ate half 😁

That’s about as lame as it gets period. I usually don’t leave reviews or complain but “ cmon man, ketchup packets… must be a Virginia thing”

It’s inside a Hilton Doubletree hotel you expect it to be a little nice we had seven folks in our party and a bill at 321$ not worth it for the food. Service was not bad for the two wait staff they had on the floor but the food was awful. Porkchop and any meat was dry, fish (cod) was sickening. On a positive note the appetizers (pretzels and nachos) were in good shape. Overall I have eaten in a few hotel restaurants that are owned by outside vendors that rent the space and this one will be forgettable. Staff did the best they could for the amount of folks they are serving and this reflects the food and atmosphere the most!

8:15 pm Walking past the bartender and not being acknowledged was strange, but when 10 minutes later, the waitres showed up, delivered some food right next to us , she said hi turned around and started talking to the customers she just delivered their food like like we already had a menu or water. Yeah, we got out and left. Not happy Valentines dinner for us there.

This is the amount of croutons this hotel uses to negate the “out of the bag” broth the DTree uses.

Please be careful going to this place. I used my credit card to pay for some drinks and 2 days later they ran my card again for the same amount. I called the ABC managag was supposedly going to look into it and call me back. After several days past the day he was supposed to call me back. I called again, they claim they have no record if the second charge.

It is rare in my travels that I find a Doubletree hotel with a restaurant…this Charlottesville BA location has this restaurant and it is a great place with good food and they will accommodate basic changes well. My bartender/ waitress was Alisa…funny, pleasant, creative and accommodating! It was fun watching her interact with people throughout the night. I got the portobello burger but with as veggie burger topped with mushrooms and a side salad instead of fries. She makes an incredible martini but I also saw her create a Brown Derby for a guest that turned into a few more for more guests. She is worth her weight in gold and should be treasured!!

Because of the reviews I went in with average expectations however our food was amazing! I got the pan seared salmon with brussel sprouts. I was extremely surprised at how great the flavor was and the crust was perfect. We also got the loaded bbq cheese fries as an appetizer and they also were extremely flavorful. I would recommend to anyone!

I've gotten breakfast multiple times while visiting the area and it's been a consistent good breakfast. Quick, but not rushed. Decent value and relaxing before a days work .
