I ordered from Roots kitchen last night on DoorDash and we ended up getting really bad food poisoning. For the past 12 hours, I've had really severe symptoms with chills and my stomach is rejecting every basic food from the BRAT diet. We ate the dinner and were sick within a couple of hours after dinner. We're positive it was the dinner because that was our only main meal yesterday and didn't eat anything else around that timeframe. I believe it may have been something off with the Cilantro sauce because two of our orders had that sauce and 1 had the Miso sauce (this person wasn't sick). We all got just about the same bowl as well, El Jefe.This was really unfortunate because we ordered from them with health in mind, but this definitely makes me hesitate to order from them again in the future. I hope the business takes responsibility instead of trying to claim it wasn't them, since it's such a straightforward case of food poisoning with them as the ONLY factor. But we'll see..

Omg I adore this place. I literally eat here every single week just so the flavors have a weekly Katy Perry T.G.I.F. party in my mouth. Even on a Wednesday I legit don’t gaf. Thank you sooooo much for giving me something else to look forward to. I appreciate y’all for your salads creativity and homemade dressings.

While I love Roots, the standard and quantity has really gone down. My latest Pesto caesar was only half full and had no pita chips. Not at all worth $13!

They are very on time with the pick up orders. The salad bowls are tasty. The quality of the bowls aren’t super consistent, especially with the amount of ingredients and dressing.

Love Roots and their yummy bowls, but this is a shouts to the awesome Lily for helping me get my order fixed after I drove home and realized, hey, this isn't what I ordered. In hindsight, should have realized at the store, but hey we all make mistakes (obviously, this story starts with one!). Thanks for being fantastic, Lily :)

Usually they do great. But most recently they’ve run out simple ingredients with no alternatives and still charge you for it. They messed up my online order and they don’t have a way to review the order in the app.

I love the separate location for catering and app orders!! There is many shelves with your food labeled. Also there is a station with napkins, forks, and menus. The downfall is the one way street and parking, it feels very cramped. The food here is great I've tried the El Jefe and Apollo so far and both are yummy!! The people were very nice and helpful.

Really disappointed tonight. We are regular Friday night Roots carry out. The El Jeffe was basically rice- no pita chips, limited kale, and no avocado. My custom bowl was supposed to have craisins but nope and very few chips. What's the deal Friday Night Crew?
