Soul Food Heaven!!! The food is Divine!!! Went on a Friday, she had two specials, fried fish platter (we got catfish, the other option was whiting), and lemon pepper whole chicken wings. Both came with two sides (we got collard greens, potato salad, Mac & cheese, and yams).

The lady was so sweet, inviting, and conversed with customers all while cooking!
Food: 10/10 (I’d go beyond that and say a 15/10)
Catfish platter: golden crisp, a perfect crunch with a bite, seasoned to perfection, cooked properly. Potato salad: flavorful, soft, potatoes were the right texture. Collard greens: flavor out of this world, melt in your mouth! (Cooked without pork, which a plus for those who may have restrictions).
Lemon Pepper Wings platter: cooked to perfection, flavor out of this world. I cleaned the bone, and I NEVER clean the bones. These wings were cooked Perfectly!!!! Mac & cheese: so damn good! Creamy, plenty of cheese, the right amount of sharpness, and a delightful crust on top. Yams: so soft, sweet, and caramelized.
The food was so good we wanted to go in there and hug her!!!

First I want to thank the lady that took care of us when we arrived she was friendly, shared conversation, and had amazing energy!!!! I just stopped by while I was in town and I’m happy I did!!!! We got two different meals, Catfish and Lemon Pepper Wings with 4 different sides and everything was 10 out 10 for me!!! But to go back to the cook with having that amazing energy shows that when you cook with love the food HITS on another level of goodness!!!

When I came in I was greeted so politely. The owner made sure she told me personally about all her Sunday dinner specials. I had the turkey wings smothered in gravy, with yams and collard greens. Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked with love and care. Thanks for a soulful Sunday.

I ordered the Lemon Pepper Dry Rub Wings (as usual) & the wings were cooked to order, crispy & seasoned to perfection. The owner, Nakesha is ALWAYS welcoming, professional & overall a whole good vibe. If you're looking for top-notch wings and/or good soul food in general, this place is it! Every bite tastes fresh, hot, and done right — no shortcuts, no grease overload, just straight-up quality food. The owner deserves special recognition. You can feel the passion behind the business — welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in putting out great food. It’s rare to find a place where both the product and the leadership shine, but Royalty Eats nails it. If you’re even thinking about catfish, stop looking. Royalty Eats is the standard. I’ll absolutely be back and recommending this spot to everyone I know.
WELP, where do I begin? First off, my Lodge brother was very confident in the lady whom had prepared the oxtails. I’ve had oxtails from all over this country, the West Indies, and in other countries across the Atlantic. These oxtails were OUTSTANDING (especially considering how the dinner was $33.) Cabbage was also top tier and the greens were almost as good my own homemade ones. I can’t wait to come back and get the smothered turkey wings. So I have to confirm: Keisha’s oxtails are arguably the best in Virginia. I WILL be back soon, considering I’ve kept a close eye on this place for years and was extremely happy they’re open on Sundays now.

Portions were solid, everything tasted fresh, and the quality was consistent across the board. This is the kind of place you try once and already know you’ll be back.
