I ordered for dinner twice and nothing so far was disappointing. They got the best tamales I've ever had, and the pupusas were so delicious I got two of them in my second order to save one for breakfast. The pico de gallo and rice were also good, pork chops and fried chicken were above average. Plus all of their foods came at affordable prices. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I had the worst experience. I ordered through their website and when I came to pick it, they claimed it would be ready in 10 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting they claimed the order did not exist, and that I never ordered. They proceeded to tell me that I ordered from the wrong website. After figuring out details they finally found the order , because I had clear proof I ordered through their website . Not to mention, the server was the most rude person ever to my husband and I. I've never been treated so bad.

My husband and I takeout for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered pork and cheese pupusas, bean and cheese pupusas, platanos, rice, chips, and salsa (all for $18)! It all tasted homemade and fresh, and we'll definitely be back soon. We are so happy to have this Salvadoran restaurant in Cville!

Before the pandemic, we've ordered from Mi Casita several times. The food tastes great and it's always packed well. We recently ordered from them for takeout, and when we came to pick up the food we asked about their safety protocol in regards to COVID. We have an infant at home so we're being extra careful. The host or the person on the front end said that everyone is wearing masks and gloves. But we were able to catch a glimpse of the kitchen and saw more than 3 people not wearing masks and handling food. Safe to say we end up not eating the food because the person we talked to lied to us, and that certainly caused us not to trust the quality of the food. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because in the past their food was actually good.
Got a shrimp and steak platter to go and it was delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned! Highly recommend!

First time but won't be my last! This is exactly what I needed! $15 for a piece of chicken, shrimp and steak The flavors are wonderful ! This is the first 5 star I've given to any restaurants an awhile ! Thank you for blessing my taste buds!

Our first takeout experience of this quarantine we're living in. Definitely a good choice. We called and ordered and they said it would be ready in 25 minutes--perfect. First time trying pupusas, these were simple and delicious and piping hot. We got them with beans and cheese. They also make a very tasty torta. You can't find tortas too many places around here so I was happy to see it on the menu. We also got an order (4tacos) of tacos al pastor and they were good, but next time I think I'll stick to pupusas and tortas and probably try something new as well. The side of fried plantains was plentiful and delicious and a huge hit with our 2 year old, as I expected they might be. A delicious takeaway dinner; we'll be back! Definitely try this unassuming place in a pantops shopping center out if you're looking for some Latin flavor.
