Simple, straightforward menu, with delicious, smooth coffee.Inside is cozy and great to sit and chat or study, if you can get a spot! Tends to be busy at high points.I brought my toddler here in a stroller, and it can be hard to navigate inside, but the outside sidewalk has some seating, which is great.

This Joe's store is great. Morgan is a fantastic batista. It is a very welcoming shop. As with Shenandoah Joe's at Preston, this too has a great atmosphere.

We got cold brews after a hike and they tasted really watered down and were super creamy. I would ask for very easy milk if you prefer to taste the coffee. Or ask to put it in yourself. I've been to better coffee shops in Cville. Friendly staff.
Great coffee and nice staff! I appreciated that they open at a normal coffee shop hour, unlike other local places (looking at you, Petite Marie Bette!) The space itself is a little well-worn, but it felt cozy. It was bustling with customers, so get there early!

Shenandoah Joe's is my favorite coffee shop in Charlottesville. They have a diverse range of espressos and coffee beans. I always get an iced lavender oatmilk latte and I find that the coffee taste isn't too overpowered by the milk or the syrup. Both locations are great but I love the coziness of the Ivy location, which makes it a great place to catch up with friends and study during a rainy day.
