Starr Hill Downtown

Great beer selection. I got the Groove Tangerine and chilled on the outdoor patio. Super refreshing spot to hang out.

Great location in Downtown Charlottesville. Lots of food options adjacent and a great place for families to hang out. Tried almost all of their beers and really fell in love with the Virginia Peaches and the Sun Burn, summer wheat ale. Definitely a place you could hang out all day and chill.

Great rotating taps and Dylan was a dream server. He explained the beers well and greeted us with a smile and some great local knowledge. Winner!

The peach beer is amazing!

Very disappointed with the lack of service. We walk in and there was 4 people in the place. The guy behind the bar never acknowledged us. We stayed for over 20 minutes and he was talking to one couple the entire time. My party and I decided to spend our money elsewhere. I cannot rate the drinks because we were not offered a moment to order. Service was nonexistent! Do better.

Really happy to have visited. Parking is plenty across the street and free for the first hour, at least on Saturday, then $2.75 an hour. Tap room is nice and spacious with great beers on tap and kombucha in bottles. Great shaded patio. What I found more convenient was the Dairy Market that is attached and easily accessible with an excellent and very affordable display of food options for all tastes.

Love their beer! Nice space and the Dairy Market is right next door for food.

Good selection of brews in a great location. My good friend drove down from Leesburg while I'm in CVille for a last minute meeting and this is where he wanted to go. Didn't dissapoint. 3 pints later and I'm all about their Snow Blind doppelbock lager. Nice and malty. My buddy, on the other side, enjoyed the Guitar Pick IPA. We also got burgers from one of the restaurants in that Dairy Market area, but that's another review.

Nothing gluten free? Nothing? Really? Can't just keep a few cans of hard seltzer around for people who come with friends who can't partake?

We held our rehearsal dinner / welcome party in this space, and it was fantastic. The space was perfect for gathering our close friends and family the night before our big day. We were able to relax with great drinks and catered food with exceptional service by the bartenders who were super accommodating to any needs we had. Our guests loved this space and the beer of course! Thanks for hosting us!
