Very cool place with amazing food! Baklava is just the best - fresh and delicious. Also very friendly stuff.
Okay service. Food lacked flavor and was expensive in terms of having little meat and the plate consisting of mostly just rice and bread. One of the desserts never came. I haven't had good Turkish food in Charlottesville...
The food didn’t have as much flavor as we had hoped. The staff was very attentive and the resturant is clean and the music choice was great.
After living in Turkey for a few years, was excited to have some “authentic” Turkish food. So sorry but this was such a huge disappointment. So very bland. No seasoning whatsoever. It was difficult to get a server’s attention to get lemon wedges and water refills were scarce. Will never return. Horrible.
A very pleasant meal. My lamb chops were nicely prepared and seasoned. The bulgar wheat was a nice compliment and a welcome chance of pace from rice. Side salad is very simple. We will likely be back!
Had an incredible meal at Sultan Kebab Restaurant! Every dish was bursting with flavor, truly delicious. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic and mouthwatering kebabs. ! Will come back for sure
Tells 15min for pickup, took 35min. Also in 2 years, price raise over 30% from 19$ to 28$.
Always satisfied, good food, atmosphere and staff.
We really like this place! All of the food tastes fresh and has great flavor. We came right before the dinner rush and were seated immediately, but the whole place was full by the time we got our food. It’s popular for a good reason! We shared the double meat platter with chicken and meatballs, it was delish!
It was our Go to place when we visit Charlottesville… but this visit was very average… their appetizer was very good but entree was very pricey but little too bland and very small portion for the price… Tge service was Okay..
the price is high and portions are very low taste also was just okay.. would have to Rethink visiting this place…
Restaurantji Recommends
The lentil soup is the best I've ever had!
Edit: Four years later, I still hold this opinion. Every visit over the years has been an absolute delight. I'd additionally like to recommend the shrimp casserole.
Amazing
Our family had a nice dinner here. We shared lamb & vegetarian platters, and got Apple tea & baklava with ice cream for dessert.
Consistent and delicious. My go to when I’m in Charlottesville for work.
So delicious and amazing, everytime, always. We appreciate you all so much!!!
Cheers
