Sultan Kebab

I went with a big group of friends and the service was amazing. Despite being a large group the service was very attentive, kind, and fast! I ordered the Adana Platter and my friend ordered Chicken Platter, they were both amazing. The quality of food is great and portions are a great deal as it comes with rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread.

As good as the reviews say. Was awesome. Get the "pizza" appetizers. the flatbread and flavors wonderful. We will definitely return.

Food was great, if I had a single mini comment was that the baklava was a tad lacking of honey, but overall still 5 stars! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner at Sultan Kebab. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the grilled Halloumi along with the nicely dressed salad underneath. Lamb Shish Kebab came with salad, hummus and rice. All were well seasoned. My husband was very happy with the Iskender Platter although he would have liked a bit more spice. The Turkish wines were nice and reasonably priced. I would also like to commend the server who ran a block to the public parking lot to find me and bring the shawl that I left behind. We will certainly return the next time we are in Charlottesville.

Nice Mediterranean restaurant located very conveniently to Main St. shopping (right next to Water St. Parking garage). Reasonably priced and delicious food, plenty of room for families and parties.

It was ok. Lovely restaurant. Not every dish came as described and portions were large but flavors not what I expected. Great staff, very patient with kids (no kid menu though).

Feels very overpriced for what you can get on a food truck. Nevertheless, the dessert is interesting.

The funniest part is how I paid for a recommended platter and got 5 tiny lamb cubes, which left me hungry after I finish, while my friend got 4 giant lamb chops for nearly the same price, and he took home 2. I tried to ask for more protein and got served the same 5 hilariously tiny lamb chops for what I consider a very bad price. The restaurant is kind enough to let me refuse it tho. Avg $35 per person, would not recommend.

PS: I now realize that the lamb might come from one bbq skewer, and there I go, 1 skewer for dinner, lol.

Great kebab spot! Loved the lentil soup and Lahmacun. The lamb & chicken combo was juicy, tea was perfect, and the baklava was amazing. Service was super friendly. Teşekkürler🇹🇷

The food is delicious and fresh. I had the Iskender plate and my mother had the lamb shish kebab and both were wonderful. If you are in the area it's a must try. Service was fine but a little awkward. Restaurant is pretty quiet. They had (enjoyable) music playing in the background but it was soft enough that you didn't have to yell to have a conversation.

The portion of meat is really small. Especially for the 28 combo, surprisingly it provides same portion as a 20 dollar dish. I’m a skinny person who don’t eat a lot but I couldn’t feel full with the combo.

On top of that, they added a 20% tip automatically without our consent.

Food was delicious and priced fairly. Serving sizes are large and easily spit between people. Staff was prompt and pleasant. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Definitely would recommend, and would come back again!
