Not really kid friendly. This place had good sushi and good appetizers. We definitely got our moneysworth. But one of my kids don’t eat sushi or rice and they wanted to charge us $13.99 for him to get chicken nuggets and fries. Now yes I understand it’s an all you can eat one price. But if you want your customers to come back I would have a separate children’s menu for the ones that don’t want the whole menu. Also the restaurant needs painted badly and there needs to be more on the salad bar.

Delicious. A little pricey, $63 for two people. The teriyaki chicken was was tough and so was the teriyaki beef. Teriyaki shrimp was very good. Others in our party said the sushi was excellent.

Really good sushi and really good value. Gotta try the Hawaiian roll. It’s unlike any roll I’ve ever had before. You’ll get your money’s worth with two rolls.

Terrible customer service. Was sat all the way in the back (of a nearly empty restaurant) and was avoided until closing time. Extremely disappointing wouldn’t consider returning for a dine-in experience.

The service was so slow that you need to order everything at once or you will wait almost an hour in between the tiny servings. The kitchen items come out cold, like they were just in the fridge. I ordered the hibachi steak and it was so tough that I couldn't eat it. I ate the cold veggies because I was starving by the time the good got there. At no time were my husband and I eating together because the food does not come out together or at work any speed. If you want to just have sushi, this place may work for you but if you plan on ordering any cooked goods, look elsewhere because this place sucks.

Probably the worst sushi I ever had in my life. The fish smelled bad and especially the eel they served were inedible where I had to throw up after I ate the food. It was so fishy and seemed expired. When I asked the server about the fish doesn’t taste normal he had no clear directions from the manager or the store how to deal with the problem. Also the food took million hours to be served

Sushi was fresh, tasted really good. The crab Rangoon’s were amazing. Service was okay. The restaurant was kind of dirty.

I was in Charlottesville for an Amtrak overnight layover. I decided to jump on the CATS #7 bus and check out M Sushi (checked on it before my trip). It was worth the trip out to them. The sushi is very good. I tried four different rolls, Clear Soup and Teriyaki Chicken and was pleased with all of it. The one thing I have to note is the server. He was prompt and checked on me fairly regular - which are the most important things in a place with this kind of "all you can eat" setups. However, his personality and demeanor could stand a bit of tuning. I work in customer service myself and know how challenging customers can be. However, it is still necessary to be pleasant, greet them and thank them for their business - they could always go somewhere else. Otherwise, I recommend sushi lovers out there to give this place a try.

From the moment After I ate there, I was vomiting all night and morning from food poisoning, and have been sick for days since, I'll never eat there again, reported you to the BBB, shut this awful place down

It is just ok. I don't feel the sushi is of any higher quality than you'd find at a regular Chinese buffet. Our waiter did let us order more than one plate at a time each. We had come here about a year ago and hadn't been back since. For the $50+ it cost (2 meals and 2 drinks + tip), we'd have been better off getting better sushi somewhere else. You do get to try a lot of different things and some things are good like the pepper tuna and jalapeño yellowtail on the food bar. Some things are not. The beef dumplings were greasy and bland, the shrimp dumplings were like tater tots and fish sticks had a baby, and the beef teriyaki was tough and in a sickenly sweet teriyaki sauce and they almost tasted like liver. Most of the rolls and sashimi were decent. Service was friendly but a little forgetful. He was working many tables though and he was nice enough that it didn't bother us too much.Update:We tried it again and it had gone downhill. The food was terrible last night. Everything tasted like it was slightly off. Higher prices and worse food. I don't see this place staying open much longer. Hibachi Grill is less expensive, you don't have to wait 20 minutes between plates coming out, and has better sushi.
