I have legitimately never left a bad review for a restaurant before but I was blown away at the poor quality of this food. The cheese Rangoon was dry and crumbly (honestly how do you even do that to deep fried cream cheese?) and was just that, no seasoning or anything in it. The fried rice was literally white rice they threw some soy sauce on? Like not a single veggie or egg, much less looking like it was refried. The lo mien and double fried pork were flavorless, the DF pork was supposed to be spicy but it would have had to have flavor first. The veggies were well cooked, I’ll give them that though. The egg foo young was particularly gross, a soggy mess with a gravy that seemed straight from a jar, and like, an expired one at that. The shrimp tempura was sadly the best part? And it was still not great, more like a Long John Silvers shrimp than anything. No joke I had to put it all back into a wok at home and add sesame oil, hot chilli crisp, fish oil, gochujang, and other seasonings just to make it edible and get some of the bang for my buck. Really sad considering how ordering out is already so expensive, you expect at least an edible dish. Absolutely the most dissatisfying Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I once went to that $4 Chinese buffet in Harrisonburg so that’s saying ALOT.

I used to deliver food from this place years ago. I just stopped in to grab dinner and asked for General Tso’s chicken with the side of rice subbed for lo mein. I was told it would be a slight upcharge (14 DOLLARS), and received the most poorly cooked chicken with mediocre sauce, TWO SIDES OF RICE, and lo mein noodles that literally just tasted like char. The friend I was with got sweet and sour chicken, and the sauce simply tasted inedible to me. The eggroll was just like every other eggroll I’ve had in my life, so I guess that was the highlight. Not going back

I first ordered here about 4 years ago and was pretty impressed. After my last order I felt the need to be a “Karen”. It has gone down hill each time I have been back. Our order of Kung Pao Chicken was completed burnt. Obviously left to long on the stove and just popped into a container. Unfortunately that container and food was our order. The General Tsos was as expected and tasted good. The Fried cheese wontons were also burnt. Will stick to Ming Dynasty or Chopsticks from now on.

I ordered with door dash and I ordered egg fu young, cheese wontons (they didnt give me sause), and a canned soda. I am unable to eat my wontons. They are extremely hard. The gravy is runny with no flavor. I will be throwing this away. No silverware or plates. Even the fortune cookie was stale. only the rice and soda was the only edible thing. I'm so pissed.

Mostly a take-out service. No longer attuned to servicing a dine-in crowd. Typical Americanized Chinese food.

Lo Mien is my favorite dish and I absolutely hate it when Chinese restaurants cheap out and use spaghetti noodles in place of lo mien noodles. They are charging the same price for a far inferior ingredient in that dish. Though the service was quick, the restaurant is very old and did not seem up to code. I will not be returning.

It’s time for them to shut down and re-rebuild that place is fallen apart. They don’t have a good system you gotta wait 30 minutes to get your food.

I'm really disagreeing with the average rating here. It could be that dishes are hit and miss, but all three of ours were hits, my General Tso's Tofu a bit sweet but with a dynamic and interesting flavor I haven't found elsewhere, the Szechuan green beans really well cooked and with a delectable sauce. I think they did really well for Chinese food, and not bad even for food in general, and if this weren't enough, they give incredibly generous portions for a remarkable price. This is easily one of the top 5 cheapest restaurants in cville by calorie per dollar, and I would gladly come back.
