Food is so so at best. The service is AWFUL. I had to get up and find my waitress 4 times. Will never ever be back. Consider yourself warned.

Very poor quality food but the worst thing is the rudeness of the staff. They never check on you, you have to go looking for them. Seriously you do. Worst Indian restaurant of my 20 years as a travel writer. Stay away.

Delicious food! I feel like the spice levels don't actually vary though when placing pickup orders, which is a shame, but I'll certainly visit again soon.

We love Taste of India! It’s our favorite Indian restaurant in Charlottesville! Dill and Naomi are the nicest people and wonderful chefs! Our favorite dishes are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chili, Saag Paneer, and their naan. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They have fast service and lots of food for the price!

The only Indian restaurant in town I could find that served Puris (fried Indian bread), and it was delicious. I loved their channa (chickpeas) and the location is very cute, I look forward to eating there after COVID. The staff was kind in helping me find the place after I got lost.

Wow! Everything was delicious. My coworkers and I ordered quite a bit of food and it came out quickly. The service was amazing, I could see the friendly and smiling faces even through the masks.

Portions are a little small for takeout. Quality is good!

Great food, great service, great location ... authentic nepali and indian food in charlottesville
The waitress was very good at being attentive and suggesting accompaniments. The atmosphere was relaxing as well and the food was very good and cooked to order.

My wife and I visited here last weekend. We've been before and really liked the food, and this time was no different. I got the combination non-vegetarian supper, and it was very good. My wife's curry was a little spicier than we were expecting, but the flavor was yummy. We recommend the vegetable samosa appetizer - so good. Service was a little slow but friendly. We'll definitely come again.

Stumbled in here by accident with my friends. We were very surprised by the food. Absolutely fantastic. Spice levels & complexity were great. Highly recommend.

Looks like they are out of business . Went by today and they have gone dark. The signage says closed on Mondays but it was 2 days later and clearly no one was there.
