We chose TCO after our very first conversation with Courtney. Her structured presentation, genuine willingness to listen, and proactive approach in suggesting ideas made it clear she was the right choice—not just as our wedding planner, but also for catering.
Courtney said “yes” to all of Carolina’s ideas, changes, and updates, always finding creative ways to stay within our budget without compromising the vision. Despite many adjustments along the way, the actual wedding day turned out even better than we had imagined.
The weather was unpredictable, but Courtney went above and beyond to ensure the ceremony could take place outside, just as our daughter had dreamed. Her team was incredible—gracious, helpful, and cheerful throughout, even when moving chairs and flowers multiple times to adapt to the changing conditions.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food—the buffet was absolutely delicious, and the service was flawless. We are so grateful to Courtney and the entire TCO team for helping create such a joyful and memorable day for our family.

You absolutely need to book The Catering Outfit—plain and simple! They were one of the very first vendors we chose because food was a top priority for our wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. From day one, they built a menu around our favorite bites and made the whole process seamless—from tasting to the final walkthrough to the wedding day itself. The chef even let me make small adjustments after the tasting to ensure everything was just right. I don’t think the word no is in their vocabulary, which makes your day feel so personal and completely custom. Their team was outstanding—not only large enough that no guest was ever left waiting for a drink, but also dressed so beautifully that it added a real wow factor to the celebration. The head table was served in such perfectly synchronized fashion that our guests called it classic and flawless. On top of that, they made sure my husband and I were constantly taken care of, always with a drink in hand and food nearby. Our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! From the ceviche bar to the espresso shots, every detail was thoughtful, elegant, and executed to perfection. From the very first email exchange with The Catering Outfit, I knew we were in good hands but I had no idea just how above and beyond the team, specifically, Nina, would go for us. We were so blessed to have had Nina as our event manager from TCO and I can say with my entire heart she feels like family now.

Nina helped to bring our entire wedding vision to life. From the food and drink selection to the design side like linens to the rentals to the tiniest style details, she made everything feel seamless, stunning and us. Her eye for design, calm professionalism and heartfelt investment in our day meant so much to us.

The TCO experience is BEYOND!! We had a full tasting and rental meeting where we talked through and experienced a glimpse of what our special day would be like and we had so much FUN!! Nina helped us select everything from the linens to glassware and all the smallest details (my favorite part) and then the tasty side from the passed hors d'oeuvres, main entrees, late night snack options and drinks (my husbands favorite).

And the food and drinks... UNBELIEVABLE! Every single dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still raving about it! The drinks were perfectly crafted and served with such elegance and flawlessness. One of our signature cocktails was so popular they ran out of it... so good! The team was polished and on top of every single detail. It all felt so effortless though I know how much work went into our day.

We are so blessed to have had Nina and the TCO team on our side for our wedding. I will never ever stop recommending them to other couples because they are the best in every single way. They go far beyond your food and drink experience... they make the entire guest experience elevated, tasty and a 10/10. You absolutely want them a part of your wedding or special event!

We were so impressed with your incredible attention to detail, especially how thoughtfully you accommodated our guests with various food allergies – that meant the world to us. Your expertise and patience throughout the entire planning process was amazing.
Beyond the culinary delights, we deeply appreciate the immense amount of time and effort you invested in coordinating all the many rentals, from furniture and equipment to linens and all the little things that went into making the entire event so cohesive and beautiful. Everything came together like an incredible masterpiece, and the presentation of the food was just as beautiful, as the food itself was delicious. The appetizers were fabulous, the signature drinks were fantastic, and the service was professional and seamless. It was no surprise to Katie and Jon that TCO delivered such perfection; Katie had attended many events you catered over the years and always knew The Catering Outfit was who she wanted for her own wedding. And, you all truly exceeded our expectations! Your entire team was amazing – so polite, professional, and served our guests beautifully without ever being disruptive to the flow of conversations.

Had a wonderful experience working with The Catering Outfit for my wedding. The food was amazing, of course, and we had a wonderful experience doing rentals through them as well. But I am most impressed with their staff: every single member of the team was present, pleasant, and professional, even throughout on and off thunderstorms. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!

We just hosted a truly breath taking wedding at King Family Vineyards and TCO made it happen!! The staff, food, presentation and attention to details was truly incredible!! Our guests are still talking about it :) I chose TCO because they were very transparent of the rentals that would be needed which I very much appreciated, not all caters were when first getting quotes. Nina, our event manager, worked closely with us to make sure our vision came to life and the food was incredible!! So thrilled I chose TCO and you will be as well!! Highly recommend!! What a fantastic King Family/Catering Outfit wine dinner -- a perfect evening of wonderful food and wine, all locally sourced. I would recommend The Catering Outfit to anyone looking for amazing people to work with -- and of course delicious food!

We went to the Food Bar for breakfast and it was delicious! I got a bacon, egg and cheese and it came on a toasted bun. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared and filling. The cup of fruit satisfied my sweet tooth too! The kitchen is immaculate and speaks volumes to the cleanliness of the entire facility. Our server/cook was Mike and he was very professional and courteous. This place is a must try if you are close to UVA (about 1.5 miles). I will be visiting the Food Bar again every chance I get!

My daughter recently got married. The Catering Outfit’s food was spectacular. They were also very accommodating to many changes. Tastings were fun. They were and are terrific

TCO is absolutely top notch! I have had the pleasure of working with these fine folks many, many times over the years and they never disappoint! The staff is incredible and efficient, the quality of their work is outstanding and aesthetically beautiful and MY GOD, the TCO hammies (ham biscuits) are just perfection! Whether you’re looking to cater a small gathering or a large wedding or anything in between, you will not be disappointed in the decision to work with The Catering Outfit.

We chose The Catering Outfit for our fall 2024 wedding for their variety of elevated food and cocktail options. My husband is vegan but I am not and we wanted there to be a balance of food options offered that met some of these dietary restrictions. We were incredibly impressed with the vegan offerings and were very excited to add on an espresso and gelato bar for dessert. If you want impressive food and service they will undoubtedly deliver. Everyone on the day of our wedding could not have been nicer. They also served our brunch which was delicious and offered a myriad of grab and go bites for our guests.

Leading up to the day communication at times was quite difficult. Once Nina took over as our point of contact things went much more smoothly. Overall, we were really pleased with our TCO experience and felt like they offered us one of the most elevated catering options in the Charlottesville area.

I was the recipient of the Thanksgiving dinner for four promotion and I have decided I'm never cooking again. While that may be far fetched, please don't hesitate on hiring them to prepare an amazing meal for whatever your occasion may be. I picked up my winnings a couple days before Thanksgiving and was greeted by a lovely person out front at a table with an extensive list of people scheduled to pick up. This alone shows me that this place is good at what they do. With all this said, the meal was next level. The flavors were more than there. They had detailed instructions for reheating everything and when I say everything, there were a dozen different items. All the way down to the little tub of butter were not only delicious, but presentable. The food was beautiful. I could have never prepared a spread like this. Thank you to The Catering Outfit. 100% recommended and not because it was free, but because it was exquisitely delicious.
