This place is so good. Smoothies are great, especially when Sam makes them. Sarah is always very friendly too.

This is tough. I love the vision here. Creating healthy and sustainable vegan food is cool, really cool, and just their participation in that is enough for me to give them 2 stars. But the prices are insane. I feel like I am priced out of making this a regular (or even semi-regular) spot for myself as I'm not quite the Canada Goose wearing target demographic. I'm a big guy, and the acai bowl was the price of a regular meal, and yet it barely touched my stomach for lunch, I had to fork up $13 just to go home to have a second lunch, which was only made worse by the fact the taste was not all that impressive either. It wasn't horrible, but the price and underwhelming flavors left me wishing I had made smarter financial decisions.Recommendations: work on the flavors a bit more, and REALLY work on bringing the prices down so that a place with such a cool vision can be affordable.BTW This review is nearly the same as the one I gave for Corner Juice, as I see them suffering from the same problem.

For a hot day such as today, this place will certainly refresh you! The owner is super friendly and knows about his products; he makes sure to ensure you his business is certified-organic. * I got the açaí bowl with CB&J. It wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but still very delicious! And the color was a vibrant pink * My mom ordered the quinoa and oats and it was so unique and tasted nutty! They serve you a BIG dollop of almond butter. You sure do get your money out of it! * The interior design was fun and cute-sy. I loved the swings addition!!

Re-do on my review. I was in town for a weekend vacation and the wife wanted a healthy breakfast. We found TJL and I ordered online so our food would be ready by the time I walked down the street to pick it up. The online ordering system was flawless and easy. Unfortunately, when I got to the shop, it was "temporarily closed" per a sign on the door.At this point, I didn't really have any way to contact the company that I could find. I replied to the email of the e-receipt, but it wouldn't accept replies. I called the other location near Kardinal Hall and nobody picked up the phone. All I could do was leave a bad review on Google and hope it was seen.Maybe 30 minutes later, I got a text saying I was refunded my money. Awesome, that's all I needed. I deleted the bad review since it wasn't justified any longer. Then I got an email with an apology and a $25 gift card to their shop. Wow, above and beyond. I wasn't able to use the gift card because we left town the next day, but I really appreciated the quick response and gesture. I wanted to leave a good review here to make sure people know this is a stand up company. If I'm ever back in C'ville, I'll be sure to grab a smoothie (and pay for it!).

The Juice laundry will always be a favorite cville spot of mine. The establishment is 100% gluten free and vegan, which means the world for someone with celiac disease. They are also peanut free and do a good job of ensuring there isn't cross contamination for other nut allergies. Their soups and chili is way underrated, and make sure to try the jalapeno lime cashew cream with the chili. The smoothie bowls are my favorite they have options from the coco verde, a green smoothie, to smoothies like the monster, which is just like chocolate-banana-almond butter soft serve. The juices aren't the cheapest but very tasty. Overall would definitely recommend!

Fire smoothie bowls as always! The granola is addictive. Cute interior of the restaurant as well it's very trendy! They also have salads, smoothies, and some little healthy snacks. Little on the expensive side but as to be expected with smoothie bowls.

Great vibe. Love the concept. Coffee is not the speciality...avoid the Coffee and vanilla macha.

I am so grateful there is a smoothie spot near the university. Their vegan options (especially their vegan caesar salad) are delicious! They always make the smoothies and smoothie bowls from scratch, and this is a great healthy spot to grab food from.

Quality fresh vegan food. Don't have to worry about what to order for my vegan lifestyle. COVID practices are good. Friendly staff. A bit pricey but good food! (Katie at the Corner location is awesome!)

Came by for a CB&J açaí bowl. It was pretty good and I loved the granola. However, my bowl was so liquid it was basically a smoothie. I only walked it over to the Graduate to eat (so just a few minutes) and it was 95% liquid - should have been given a straw instead of a spoon...

I love their smoothies! They are so fresh and healthy -- and have a range of flavors so I know I'll find something no matter what mood I'm in. Oh and I love that they go the extra mile to be socially and environmentally responsible!! <3

I’ve always loved this place, but today it was finally time to leave a review for the exceedingly kind service. Even in a pandemic, the person taking orders at the front window went out of his way to be cheerful, helpful, communicative, and compassionate. Not to mention the fact that the smoothies and bowls are delicious, their coffee is great, and their little treats are amazing. Highly recommend!
