Went for a private after party- bartender Joe was amazing. He made sure that everyone who wasn’t with our private event left quickly. He was fast and accurate and anticipated our needs without needing to be asked!

Ian was amazing too and they both celebrated our newlyweds so well!

The inside of the place is decorated fun as well. Classic dive bar! Great experience

Very nice little hole in the wall local joint. Dan and Ian have got it going on, and know how to take care of both repeat and new customers. Delicious food, cold beer, and interesting conversation amongst the peeps. G

Partner and I stopped in for a night cap. Two beers, two shots between the two of us. Bartender was very friendly. Small dive, not a lot going on because I think it’s slow season (college students are out of town). Didn’t try any food. Might go back.

We were there to see Billy Strings. After the concert we went to LW’s Livery Stable! What a great bar! The owner was so welcoming and an absolute blast! We talked about guitars and concerts! I would highly recommend and will be going back again!!

Great owner.. had a blast, leave your attitude at the door and just have a good time. Really cool place… a must go to in Charlottesville.

I must admit that I am a bit biased towards this bar because I used to work here, so it holds a special place in my heart. It has been almost 5 years since I left, but I can honestly say that it remains true to its roots. It doesn't pretend to be something it's not, and that authenticity is what I appreciate about it. This bar is a true dive bar, and it's a rarity in Charlottesville. The atmosphere reminds me of the show Cheers, which I grew up watching, where everyone knows your name.

The location is interesting but once you go in it is very run down it appears dirty. There is not much of a selection for food .I personally did not eat there. It is very small wouldn't recommend for a night out.
