We were there to see Billy Strings. After the concert we went to LW’s Livery Stable! What a great bar! The owner was so welcoming and an absolute blast! We talked about guitars and concerts! I would highly recommend and will be going back again!!
I must admit that I am a bit biased towards this bar because I used to work here, so it holds a special place in my heart. It has been almost 5 years since I left, but I can honestly say that it remains true to its roots. It doesn't pretend to be something it's not, and that authenticity is what I appreciate about it. This bar is a true dive bar, and it's a rarity in Charlottesville. The atmosphere reminds me of the show Cheers, which I grew up watching, where everyone...
Small spot gets a little crazy late night. Good cheap drink on the downtown mall. Supports Browns backers club.
