This was our first experience at a Melting Pot. We very much enjoyed the experience and our server, Warner, was A1. Warner walked us through the menu options, and presented us with wine options, answering all of our questions about the bases, structure and sauces with professionalism and kindness. We ordered the 4-course dinner for 2, Big Night Out, and it was a lot of food. The fondue course (Loaded Baked Potato Cheddar) was amazing, our salads (Melting Pot House & California) were great, the base (Coq Au Vin) we chose for our entree course was not our favorite but was still good and the desert (Yin Yang Chocolate) was pretty tasty also, sad our white chocolate broke though. We will definitely come back again for a date night and probably order A-la-carte as the 4-course was so much food.
I was visiting Charlottesville last night, and treated myself to a cheese fondue and a glass of wine. It was a lovely evening. The waitress was particularly personable and friendly.
This was our first time there. And we were very impressed. They have a couple entree special for around $100.00 for two people. They have a lot of other less expensive options too but this one we highly recommend. But fear not it is totally worth every penny. You get a full, four course dining experience. The wait staff is five star quality. Our server Kosta. She was absolutely amazing! Best service I have had in a restaurant in years! The food from start to finish was beyond amazing. Virtually unlimited main course. There is zero chance you will walk away hungry. You can mix and match your entree however you like. So it truly is a custom experience for each person. Our server did not rush us at all and made us feel so comfortable, explaining all the options in a very relaxed way. If your looking for a restaurant that truly is a five star dining experience, Melting Pot is a sure fit for a date night. We will definitely be return customers. Thanks Kosta, you made the experience perfect!
I love this restaurant. I could eat here everyday. The service is excellent and the food is to die for.

My wife and I love this place. The food is great. The service is excellent. We usually just get a dessert and a cheese fondue. I also ordered a salad today and it was among the best salads I’ve ever had. Will return!

The Melting Pot went out of their way to make out anniversary special. We had a secluded, romantic booth, an anniversary card from the staff, a very attentive and engaging server and manager helping us, and wonderful food. It was a delightful, meaningful, and memorable experience.
Great Service and amazing tastes, portions felt small, we had 2 cheese melts between the 3 of us… our server was fantastic and that really elevated the experience over all. Will come again!

The Melting Pot is our go-to date night spot — and it never disappoints!
My wife and I absolutely love coming here, especially just to sit at the bar. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, perfect for winding down and reconnecting. The staff is always fantastic — friendly, attentive, and they really make you feel welcome every time.
Their new happy hour is a game changer! Amazing prices on drinks and select bites without compromising on quality or experience. Whether you're doing a full fondue dinner or just grabbing cocktails and cheese/chocolate at the bar, it’s always a great time.
Highly recommend for couples, date nights, or even a chill evening solo.

We love the food here. The ambiance is a little less romantic than I would have liked, although this is one of the few chains I still visit. The staff are very friendly and happy to walk you through their many options.

Great Sevice and amazing tastes, portions felt small, we had 2 cheese melts between the 3 of us... our server was fantastic and that really elevated the experience over all. Will come again!
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Our server was dealing with many tables so he wasn't as quick to check on us as we would have expected however he was very knowledgeable and did the best he could. I don't blame that on him. Food was amazing as always...liked the way our table was back in a corner and we felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant.
We had an amazing time. Our server Laya was the best. They handled my allergy perfectly and took great care of us. I highly recommended going here! If you are worried about getting too hot, ask for a table in the bar.
I have been to several Melting Pot locations over the years and always enjoy rhe experience. We have a 1 year old and 2 year old, so when we started planning our anniversary alone, I felt like this would be the perfect setting- and it did not disappoint!
My hubby had never been, so I was a little unsure if he would enjoy, but he continued to talk about it all night. We made the hour drive from Culpeper just for the experience. We also loved how tucked away and private our booth was, with rose petals, candles, and a card from the staff. It really made us feel alone in the restaurant- I even asked if they were always this calm thinking we were the only ones in the restaurant (when we got up to leave that was not the case).
We went all out- even did the double dippers and were happy to help our server win a challenge for that! Our server Eli (or E) was fantastic… knowledge, quick to bring what we needed, but without hovering. The hostess was also super helpful- I dropped my phone behind the booth and she caught us searching- she had no problem jumping in and climbing/digging to grab it. We are so appreciative of the entire staff.

Very nice place to try something that is no longer the fad that it was in the 70s. Took a friend who had never done any fondu and she was having a lot of fun with the experience.
The food was good. This kind of dining is not order, eat, and run...so go only if you have TIME to actually sit, have conversations, and eat slowly. The fondu to cook the meats gets better and better the longer it simmers...so plan to be there a good while and dont hurry.
We left full (we did the full 3 course with cheese fondu, salad, entree, and dessert) and were allowed to cook and take home any leftovers we had on the table.
But, word of warning, if you do just one course, you might find that the offerings seem a bit sparse.
Especially considering that, in America, most places serve 2 to 3 times the reccommended portion size for a meal, and most everyone has come to EXPECT that ginormous feed bag to be rolled out for you when eating out. You are NOT going to get the equivalent of a 16oz Tbone with a giant baked potato, a salad, and hot veggie.
You WILL get variety, fresh food to cook to your taste, conversation, two hours of giggling over having to use the 'rescue spoon', and an experience that, unless you grew up in the 70s, that is new and different.
Our waiter was Fantastic. He was super friendly and attentive young man from a huge family (wishing I could remember his name), and he made the evening very enjoyable.
He knew the ingredients that went into everything and was able to warn my gluten intolerant friend away from a few choices that would have made her unhappy for a few days. It is possible that he knew all this because he has allergies of his own and knows how hard it can be to deal with, but whatever the reason, he was Exceptional!
