I wanted to love this place but unfortunately the food really let us down. We visited Charlottesville on 8/3 and thought this place would be the perfect start to our day but the flavors were just not there.

The service was good but I can’t visit a place that tastes like generic hotel breakfast lol. We could have just done that instead.

We ordered two sets of eggs Benedict, a waffle, French toast (I forgot what else). The eggs had little to no hollandaise sauce and was under seasoned. The potatoes tasted freezer burned or like stale. I looove “homefries”/breakfast potatoes but these tasted unpleasant. My son didn’t think the waffle had much flavor. Maybe it was a bad day but I rather go to Waffle House or first watch than an over hyped restaurant next time.

I can't say enough good things about this place, especially about our server, Faith. She was absolutely amazing, not just when my group dined there, but also when we sat outside while exploring the mall, she would bring us water and check on us! She goes above and beyond for her customers and is extremely warm and kind-hearted! I'm here from multiple states away but if I'm ever back in the area, I WILL visit again!

Great spot for a meal & to visit. They serve all day breakfast choices- friends enjoyed veggie omelet with potatoes, onions & peppers… while the other had the classic with fresh blueberries added on top of pancakes. I enjoyed a special - fish tacos with mango salsa- delicious! Generous portions & nice staff.

The food and service were fantastic. By far the best breakfast we have ever had while traveling. We will be back before we leave the area.

Food, besides overly salted fish tacos they they still charged us for, was good but bad service. Waitress was defensive and argued that no one had complained about the salt levels before. Sad

Not super notable or flavorful food, but the sweet tea is sweet and the power bowl on the lunch menu is good. Good for a big group, walkins, and kid friendly. Slight level up from your average diner and fun because of its location and convenience.

Overall I enjoyed Nook. I believe the atmosphere was my favorite as it has a nostalgia about it, The service was great. I had the crab cake with eggs and toast. What a great way to start the day

The food was hardy, flavorful, and the service was impeccable. Ordered the chicken and waffles and it came out better than expected. The waffles were soft and fluffy and the chicken was crispy but not too crunchy. What I initially thought was maple syrup turned out to actually be honey and so when I added maple syrup thinking they didn't add enough. There was a nice blend of the honey taste followed by the sweet taste of maple syrup, which was a pleasant surprise.

The staff are friendly, charming, and funny as we were cracking jokes at the table. I definitely felt welcomed and almost like part of a family.

A bit hard to find based on the 400 block of Main. The restaurant is actually in the 400 block of the pedestrian street in the historic district, behind Main Street.

Cute place. Waiter got my order wrong. But I let it go since he was cute as hell. Don’t remember his name.. not that it matters now! Holler at me! 😉

Had the poutine bowl. Would definitely get it again and was very reasonably priced. Bacon can be hit or miss in brunch spots, this place knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend.
