Very disappointed, This was the first time eating at a restaurant for Thanksgiving. Expected a great experience. The ambiance was lovely, but the tiny table too small for a Thanksgiving dinner. There was no dinner roll?!! The butternut squash soup had a good flavor but was served lukewarm, not sure if that was intentional? Should be hot. No gravy served, had to ask for it. Mashed potatoes & stuffing servings too small, Again, everything on the main dish was luke warm as if plates were prepared ahead & waiting to take to tables. The turkey was both white & dark meat, which is ok, but the dark meat was not "cleaned up". I had to pick out bones, fat, soggy skin. The staff seemed like inexperienced temps. Our dessert was brought out, made the rounds of tables & returned to kitchen 3 times before it was brought out to the right table. Won't be back.

Disclaimer: This review is for a very particular situation that may not be generally applicable. We had post-Thanksgiving Day brunch for a large family group at Hillock. The night before, we made 4 separate reservations to insure a place, and the Omni/Hillock Staff was then able to kindly put us in a private room for what turned out to be some 30 people (locals and hotel guests) with easy access to the breakfast buffet. The renovation of the Hotel has, in our estimation, been transformative. The touches from artwork to interior design create a warm, welcoming environment. Would call breakfast buffet perfectly adequate for our toddler to great-grandparent range. What really stood out for us was the service. From use of the room to the constant addition of diners as friends and family happened upon us and more chairs/settings were needed to side orders, requests were met with a smile and quick/effective/non-intrusive service. So, for our family and friends on this particular day- it was close to perfect.

This was our first time eating at the Omni & expected everything to be exceptional. Very disappointed. First of all, there was no bread, not even a dinner roll, which there should be with a Thanksgiving dinner. The portions were ok but everything was barely warm, as if plates were made up ahead of when served. I had to ask for gravy. The butternut squash soup had a wonderful taste & texture, but again just warm, & there should be more than 3 or 4 pepitas if it is described as "with pepitas". And I should add that our desserts made the rounds & returned to the kitchen 3 times because the person serving didn't know which table to bring them to. It felt like it was staffed with inexperienced temps. Sorry, Omni, expected the experience to be great.

I cannot praise Hillock Kitchen too highly. Every aspect couldn't have been more perfect. The food, ambiance, menu, help, cost added up to one of the best dining experiences ever. I hope to become a regular!

This for the special event dinner this past Thanksgiving. Bottom line is that for the two of us the main interest turned out merely to be eating Turkey Day dinner not at home. The food was less than mediocre. For instance the desert I chose (apple pie and icecream) turned out to be exactly like thawed out product available at any neighborhood grocery store. The chocolate moose (spelling?) my wife had was same sort of thing. Entree choices were steak, salmon, roast turkey. We both had turkey. Wife said her serving was tasty. And apparently tender (since she ate it without whine). On the other hand mine was over cooked: dry and no taste. (It was a skin-side cut). Our disappointment is magnified by/grounded on the poor cousin relationship versus the Thanksgiving dinners offered before covid. Back then there was a certain amount of festive atmosphere. Not this time. The before covid events were buffet style. This time from menu. One good thing about absence of buffet: I did not overeat the way I did in buffet times. Before covid: the deserts were high quality: not particularly spectacular, but VERY good. and there was a wide assortment. I hope Omni will build back to what Tday used to be.

Breakfast potatoes and sausage were both cold. Eggs were ok. Waiter not unpleasant but not pleasant either. Hotel and staff were extremely pleasant and professional. Room was lovely but bathroom tub needs grab bar to get in & out.

This is a quaint and pleasant in establishment restaurant with quality food and drinks. Our bartender Ken was a gem and made us feel like we were regulars right away. Try the Rum Punch , it is a fruity libation you don't want to miss and the flatbread pizzas are rustic and spot on ! Stop in and enjoy all the Pointe has to offer !

The Easter buffet was scaled down so much from previous years. It was held in one of the small rooms away from the atrium which was made worse when we were seated in a separate area with nothing to look at but a few other tables. The food was alright, nothing exceptional in my opinion.

Our company hosted dinners at The Pointe. The meals were delicious, the presentation was gorgeous, and the room set up was beautiful. Can’t say enough about the friendly and professional staff that made it not only easy to book this venue but a pleasure. I commend Francois, Lorena and their entire staff. What a top-notch facility.

Met up for breakfast before the Cavilers vs BC women's basketball game, decided upon this restaurant due to team meeting in conference room and family staying at the hotel. Breakfast buffet: made to order omelettes, bacon, sausage, cheesy hash browns, toasts, bagels, croissants, mini jellies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pastries, sliced fruit, yogurt parfaits, individual yogurt, 5 types of cereal and oatmeal. Coffee with vanilla syrup provided creams n sugars, refills slow but very courteous waiter and manager. $21/ per person. Delicious

Last week the Pointe restaurant hosted my parents anniversary dinner. We were not an easy group to host. Most of our party were Vegan and Vegetarian with a few meat eaters. Francois Bladt the director of Operations and Lorena Kush-Meade the restaurant manager went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. From the very beginning of planning our event both Francois and Lorena were responsive via emails and phone calls. They worked with us every step of the way to make our event perfect. My wife and I stayed at the Omni over the weekend and frequented the restaurant regularly. All of the staff were attentive and eager to help. Thanks so much Francois and Lorena!!!

The service was really slow and the food is exceptionally expensive. Kinda feels like an airport— you know you're overpaying the moment you arrive. We'll invest in a great experience and great food— but this was an odd experience. I was surprised

The Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. Miss the old setup before Covid, but I can get use to the Good food ad excellent service that the Pointe always delivers.
