So slow. We waited forever for everything! So many issues. Food was ok but not worth the money or the wait. Our waitress would just disappear.

The cornbread was the best I've ever had. The pasta was heavy on the garlic taste but it was still very good. Dessert was plain. Overall we had a very good experience and would most certainly go back!

The staff was great! Lucy was so welcoming. Corn bread was good, but I can't eat peppers & this was not listed on the menu. Had to pick the peppers out before eating the corn bread. The fried chicken was ok. The menu didn't state it was dark meat and I don't like dark meat. There was more breading and bone than meat.
Savannah was my bartender last night and I can’t say enough about how great she is
She made everyone at the bar feel welcome and her work was very quick with service I’m

Excellent dinner at The Ridley tonight! The atmosphere is cozy and the food was terrific. We started with oysters (6 Rockefeller/6 raw) and they did not disappoint!
My friend ordered bourbon pasta with chicken and I had the Ridley burger. Cooked perfectly and it was a generous portion.
Finished off with the carrot cake!! Yummy! We will definitely be back! 🩷

Very good food reasonably priced, and excellent service, But, a very limited and overpriced wine list. For one wine we buy in Northern VA for $11.97 they charge $18 for a small glass, $68 for a bottle.
My husband and I booked the buffet for Christmas. We walked from our hotel and arrived 5 minutes late. The hostess told us our reservation had been cancelled since we were late. We just kind of stared at her in disbelief until she said she guessed she could still seat us… for the buffet… on Christmas??? We literally felt like we were on candid camera. The buffet itself was fine. Nitpicky critique is that I ordered a bottle of white wine and they did not bring anything to keep our bottle cold. This was very clearly not a “wine bar” - most of their wines can be easily bought at Publix. Overall, didn’t ruin Christmas but generally mediocre experience.
Had Christmas Day dinner there. There was a plentiful buffet but we chose to eat from the menu. Our appetizers were great - the wings! such tender meat and tangy sauce, and spicy flavorful roasted Brussels sprouts. My salmon was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp & grits, crab cakes and house burger were all eaten to the last bite. Our “server” was the bartender, who couldn’t muster a smile and eye contact was a chore. She checked on us one time when appetizers were delivered to see if more drinks were needed then seemed irritated that they were. Never checked on us after dinner arrived and we had to go to the bar to ask for our check for which we were given a QR code that didn’t work (not her fault) but then she *had* to run our card. We weren’t the only table she was neglecting, though she was friendly enough with the bar patrons. It was a holiday, so probably short staffed, but our section wasn’t very busy and the bar wasn’t full.
Go for the food and take your chances with the wait staff.

Can't believe we paid $200 for the Christmas buffet.
1. Poor customer service.
2. Asked if we could order menu items. We were told no by the unfriendly hostess. Then we were told by the waitress we could, but it would take 35-45 minutes, after we had prepared our plates from the buffet.
3. My Dad asked for a glass of water and was told by the hostess and server, in a minute. My dad is 87.
4. Never came back to offer refills on drinks.
5. The greens were awful as well as the tough and chewy steak.
6. Waitress never smiled and seemed overly stressed as well as the hostess.
7. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the restaurant Manager (maybe). She was helpful.
8. Definitely not a good experience.
**Maybe the waitress and hostess should get a crash course in customer service from the extremely friendly hotel front desk clerk.
3pm arrival.
