Torchy's Tacos

Love this place. Tacos are great, queso is phenomenal, and the service is even better. Great place for a drink.

Bryan was very accommodating behind the bar. We had a tough day and were travelling and he was friendly enough to treat us to free queso and guac. Super friendly, looks out for his customers.

I doordashed the brushfire at 9:30pm. It came at 10:50pm. It was fairly expensive for a taco but its whatever because it was the only thing open. As I was eating, I noticed a weird taste but disregarded it. As I ate more it got more strange, and when I opened it up, the chicken was half cooked. Raw/pink on one side and barely cooked on the other. It looked like it had only been grilled on its front side and the back side was left untouched. I feel like crying and throwing up because I have a fear of eating raw food, especially chicken and meats. Update as I was writing this: my stomach is starting to rumble and I feel pains.

Tried Torchys tacos for the first time. It was great. The staff were awesome. The queso was 10/10 the guacamole 🥑 🔥💪🏽

I got the Crossroads taco. Amazing. Authentic corn tortilla. Perfectly ripe avocado. Huge pile of brisket. Way worth it.

We pray few tacos and sat down to wait . 10 minutes later, we received our tacos wrapped’to go’. We did not order anything to go. The chicken lost that crunch and there was no tomato or lettuce. Very disappointed!

Passing through town I took a chance going here and was greeted by the most friendly, warming and helpful member of their team. Her name was Marge and she walked my sister and I through the menu and we ultimately ended up having an incredible experience and will most definitely be coming back anytime we’re in Charlottesville. Shout out to Marge for making us feel appreciated and welcome.

Everything was amazing. We had one small hiccup with our drinks coming out late and the manager personally took care of it and even gave us a much bigger size as compensation. One of my new favorite spots!

So my friend is vegan and ordered a taco without onions. Basically it was all onions! When she called to have them fix the order, they told her to take it up with DoorDash, despite the fact that they made the mistake.
If they mess up your takeout order, good luck getting it fixed. In the end, she scraped off all the onions and just ate the tortilla for her dinner since everything else nearby was closing.
