Yo, I was here twords closing. Dance room empty, but I came to dance my heart out, crowd or otherwise. Yet, this made me stand out, and Trinity doesn't like different. The deemed me "too drunk." and without evaluation kicked me out with escort. Trinity is close minded to those that aren't like the rest, deeming them "weird." They pose as an open welcoming, but in fact are hostile to those that stick out. Woe be to the engaging and expressive souls.

My husband and I were visiting Charlottesville and decided we wanted a hamburger so thought a tavern would be a great spot . This visit was a non repeater! I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone above 20! The girl who sat us was less than enthused and definitely didn't work for tips. There were 3 college aged persons behind the bar! They were more concerned with hanging out with each other than working. I should have known better to dine in here around 2pm when no one else was dining. The hamburgers were that of a college cafeteria!

Bartenders tip themselves here. Don’t be surprised to get charged 3 times what you payed for drinks. This place steals your money! Absolute garbage.

This place isn't even remotely pretending to be an Irish pub in any way. They need to stop advertising themselves as such

First floor of the bar was barren. I didn’t feel like I was in an Irish inspired bar, but rather someone’s basement.I ordered a Guinness and was shocked it came in a cheap plastic cup. It also tasted as if the tap lines hadn’t been cleaned in a while.From the website I assumed this was a high class place. So disappointing. Call John Tapper!

these are high school dropouts or college kids thinking they are hot stuff. Worst customer service I have ever received. They have kids drinking back in the bar hope ABC gets on these guys quick. They let everyone under age in specially since they have a high school kid working in as a bouncer truly embarrassing. These guys are due for a huge law suit the way they feel welcome to treat guest and put their hands on them. They are also very racist this has to be the worst bar ever and specially un responsible by whoever runs it. Heard the owner and their managers always party together and don’t care about under age kids getting in and their customer service hiring kids with no experience truly sad and awful. Hope ABC gets on these guys horrible everything GET BETTER.

Not impressed with this place. Tried to have dinner with a party of three. Entered for dinner, walked upstairs, and was rudely told the upstairs was closed. However, there was no sign, nothing blocking the upstairs and no one to greet us at the front door. The group behind us got the same treatment and also complained. You should think of treating customers and potential customers with more tact and a measure of politeness. Isn’t that the Virginia way?

Came in at 1:20 on brunch day to get the $3 mimosa special, literally made eye contact w every single server as they walked past us, sat down and checked their phones for 35 mins, at which point we decided to just leave. Very disrespectful & unserious

"Vodka pineapples were solid portions." Winter months and warms bodies are a plus. A little musty, use deodorant. Very packed but still had a good time. Bunch of college students bc there is a college nearby and it's finals week so ofc everybody is out and celebrating the semester being over. Our Irish pubs back home just have one rule drink til you drop ?.

This bar bounced me on my 21st bday and ruined my night. The bouncers are college kids who have no idea how what a real ID

Came in for a drink and dinner. After a drink, I had to leave. Several of the bartenders were vaping behind the bar.

Please don't bother going here. It's not a true Irish pub. It's just some college kids working there who will ignore your requests for refills, neglect to check your id, and forget to even provide you your bill while they flirt with each other. Definitely not making the mistake of going here again. I had to leave cash on the counter and leave because they never even brought me my check.
