I spent $53 and left a $10 tip for the worst food. In Charlottesville, I'm up here on a construction project. I have a crew of 12 people. It's no way I will bring my crew in here to eat this. It is ridiculous.

I have only ordered take-out, so my review is based solely on the dozen or so delivery orders I've had over the past year. The food is wonderful. I especially recommend the brisket burnt ends, and the ribs. Their baked beans are also super on point. I would give Vision 5 stars, but recently they have started using smaller containers for their sides. At $5 each, it's disappointing. I am pretty sure Vision used to use 8oz deli containers, but have since then switched to smaller portions (5oz?) for the same price. I know times are tough but I'd rather pay slightly more for an 8oz to go container than pay the same amount for a smaller portion.

Excellent food! The breaded catfish were perfectly cooked — soft and fluffy on the inside with a crispy, golden coating on the outside. The baby back ribs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The food was absolutely amazing! The only downside was the slow service, which could use a bit of improvement. Overall, great job, and please keep serving these delicious dishes!

Slow to be seated, 30 minutes and no food only to be told our order hadn’t been given to the kitchen due to “technical difficulties”.

Avoid at all costs….so many better places in C’ville to eat.

Visited this establishment while visiting my brother at college. For dinner time on a Saturday, this place was pretty dead. Ambience was lack luster. Service was friendly but not very attentive, had to request for drink refills. The entrees, bbq pork and smashburger, were good and worth the price. The sides left much to be desired. The mac and cheese was gummy and overdone. The coleslaw was too vinegary and almost fermented in taste. One and done kind of place.

Vision BBQ is hands-down one of the best barbecue spots in Charlottesville! The food is incredible — everything tastes fresh, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. The pulled pork and brisket are my go-tos, and the sides (especially the mac and cheese and baked beans) are just as amazing. You can tell the team really cares about quality and customer experience. The staff are always welcoming and make you feel right at home, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. If you love great BBQ and a relaxed, local vibe, Vision BBQ is a must-try!

Family member was at Dr. Appt.

Ate here on a visit to Charlottesville back in spring of this year and forgot to leave a review. All of the food we got was fantastic and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Beans were under cooked.
The slaw was ok.
The pulled pork was very good.
The service was slow. I was the only one ordering and it took 15 minutes to deliver the food.
Also one of the workers went to the bathroom while I was in there and left without washing his hands.
Not going there again!
