They don’t answer the phone nor do they return calls. I tried to make a reservation but they didn’t return my calls. When I final got a person at 6:00 I was told they hadn’t gotten around to phone calls. Th the manager seems to be indifferent to this problem.

Wonderful atmosphere for a meal. A liittle loud but nice. The food was delicious, but the wedge salad was kinda dry, needed more dressing. The pasta Carbonara was excellent as was the eggplant Parmigiano. Large portions with delicious bread made the night. The German Reisling was the best my wife has ever had. We truly enjoyed our meals here. The server was very good but was also very busy.

Me and my boyfriend stopped in with my golden retriever for dinner on the patio tonight, and the whole experience was wonderful. Our server, Owen, was fantastic and greeted us with a basket of the most delicious (& warm) bread. I am a bit of a picky eater, so I really appreciated the flexibility they offered with the menu. I had penne with butter and goat cheese and it tasted fantastic. It was a generous portion, and I do not usually eat left overs, yet I am excited to finish my pasta tomorrow because it was so tasty. The food is great, but the service really made the whole night fantastic-- Owen is clearly hard working, and he gave us stellar service even though he was clearly busy with multiple tables inside and outside.

for the third time in 18 months, Vivace messed up my reservation. First time, they showed NOTHING at all, even though I called directly to the restaurant to make the reservation. I spoke with the manager and was told that "it's been hard to get any help lately." Second time, I had requested a specific table, and was told they gave it to someone else. No further explanation. Third time, (last week) I asked for the same table again (booking at least 10 days prior) and when we arrived, I was told that I requested a high-top table outside on the patio. I explained that I would not have requested to sit outside in the wintertime. They blamed Resy this time. ("We have trouble with Resy.") The teenager acting as hostess was very unprofessional (in her dress and her attitude) and wanted to argue with me. We were finally seated at a little table upstairs that is typically used as a "service table." We won't be returning to Vivace.

Absolutely amazing... This is respectfully comparable to the upscale Italian restaurants in Chicago. I had the chicken parm w/sausage & gluten free pasta. WOW 10/10 -- The pasta and everything tasted exactly like it was made from scratch. The texture in the pasta is so beautiful.Elegant dining experience and the waitress was very accommodating. Please visit this gem if you're ever in the area. We would definitely visit again! Thanks staff + cook! =)
I had my wedding dinner here and it was phenomenal! The food was so good, the service was amazing and the servers catered to our every need. We reserved the red room and it was perfect for our small wedding party. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm. I love it here. We will definitely be back very soon!

This is a place that in 23 years of living in C-Ville I had never previously visited. It’s up there in terms of classic Italian. I grew up in upstate New York and the parm here is close to that level of old school Italian vibez I grew up with. Glad it’s here. Highly recommend.
