I have been to same type of food places in the western hemisphere and I have no idea who the chef was for the evening of January 17, 2026. The best shrimp risotto ever! The gambas al ajillo ever! The second best octopus after my favorite place in Galicia, Spain. This restaurant brings joy to your senses. Food is cooked to its perfection. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to indulge yourself in a culinary experience. Patatas Bravas were “very” bravas (extra spicy), but still good. THANK YOU!

My wife and I were hungry for something slightly different. We came to Zocalo as we had been once a couple of years earlier. The Corn and Crab soup is amazing. You get both flavors but neither overwhelmed the other. The Fish Tacos were Perfect. My wife was recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal. The server was familiar with it and was able to help us through the menu. They Cooked her Salmon in a separate pan to ensure no cross contamination. Perfect music, great calm atmosphere. 100% will be bringing family and friends here soon.

One of the best restaurants in Cville. I have dined here multiple times and enjoyed every experience. The mussels and scallops are fantastic and a must order on my visits. Cocktails are balanced and inventive. Whether you are dining inside next to the fireplace, enjoying the warm weather on their patio or sitting at their comfortable bar seats, you are sure to have a great time at Zocalo!

Had lunch with 2 friends at Zocalo today. We all thought it was amazing!! The presentation is incredible and the food was delicious. The service was pure perfection by our waitress, and the chef who came out to see us. We will be back soon!!

We love the new zocalo, now under Will’s new ownership. Generous portions and fresh authentic flavors. We went with my in-laws Norman and Sue, who are long time friends of new owner Will. We got both the Mexican as well as Colombian coffees. We started with the pumpkin blossom muffins. I got the Spanish breakfast and my husband got the omelette. So hearty and delicious. And super friendly service. Will gifted us fresh in house made tropical sorbets and another dish, a strawberry sorbet with a round churro pastry. It was so nice to chat with Will. You can tell he is passionate about food. Plus there were a lot of cute decorations and it was so festive for the season. We can’t wait to come back!

Four of us had delicious food, a nice Spanish rose, kind and attentive staff. Tuna tartar, key lime chicken, duck, and chile relleno all very good. We were eyeing enviously our neighbor’s flight of margaritas. The sorbet selection and churro were both yummy finishes.

Went to have lite bites and a few beers before a concert at the Pavilion and the Zocalo staff, service and food was great! Tuna tartare was amazing and Chef Will couldn't have been more accommodating. Sat at the bar and service overall was great. Thank you! We will be back.

Deeply disappointed in Gianna, the hostess that was working today. She told my MIL that there would be a 45 minute wait at 11:45 am. I saw there was a Resy open for 45 minutes later at 12:30 pm. I did not take the Resy, as it was reasonable to assume that someone who was waiting for 45 minutes and put themselves on the list would get accommodated. Was told that since someone took the Resy reservations, they could not accommodate people that were standing in line outside for 45 minutes. The hostess’ inconsiderate behavior was deeply frustrating and her miscommunication and lack of forethought was so disappointing that I will never book a reservation at this restaurant ever again, nor recommend this restaurant to anyone in my circle.

Absolutely amazing experience. The service was flawless - kind, patient, professional, and fantastic with navigating our large group. The food…. OH MY how HEAVENLY!!!! Chef Will has proven himself beyond exceptional yet again. Everything ordered at our table was absolutely gorgeous and soooooo delicious. The desserts were spectacularly divine as well. To top it all off our cocktails were perfect!
To add: I ordered the shrimp risotto and am still dreaming about the absolutely perfect flavor combinations! I also love food presentation and my whole table was in awe with the plating of everything served. We will definitely be back!!
