Homeplace Vineyard is a family-run winery situated between Danville and Lynchburg, about an hour from Raleigh/Durham. This charming establishment offers a variety of wines for all tastes, especially dry wine enthusiasts. The vineyard features a tobacco barn tasting room with a stone fireplace and a huge wraparound porch, providing inviting indoor and outdoor seating. It also has an event venue and ample parking. Visitors enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for events and weddings. Guests can savor wine flights, picnics, and purchase wine by the case. Many appreciate the beautiful setting and rich history, making it definitely worth a drive into the country.
