“So in this edition of "random reviews that Erik writes" we have a Subway in Chatham, VA that may end up being the highest rated Subway in the history of Subways. As with any chain, my rating is based on expectations for the chain, it's not a comparison to all sandwiches I've ever eaten. Me giving this Subway a 5, is not saying it's the greatest sandwich ever, but it was the best Subway experience ever.Truth. I have not had a sandwich at Subway in more than a decade. I either make my own sandwiches, go to a local place, or have the grocery store make them. In this particular case, my wife and I were hungry, we didn't want anything heavy, and also were not sure when we would find our next meal option. Also, there is definitely not much to speak of in Chatham, and upon looking at reviews in the tiny town, this Subway was the safest bet.Just gonna say, I've been sleeping on your Subway, and the guys you have working at this location made it a great experience. For one, I didn't know there were so many sub options these days, or that you are slicing meat on site now. I got a california club, and the avocado was fresh, no browning at all. Bread and meat fillings tasted great, and the guys crisped up my bacon in the toaster even though I didnt ask. Made everything better. Service generally was friendly, quick, and efficient, and I enjoyed my sandwich. I don't think there is a TCBY operating out of this same building anymore as shown in old photos.In the realm of Subways, this was certainly a 5!”

“My husband brought me here tonight for our 21st anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely amazing I couldn't have asked for better quality and flavor. Our waitress was super nice and attentive but not over attentive which was also nice So we did not feel rushed in ordering or eating. The atmosphere was lovely very subtle and quite but not too quiet. We loved everything about our experience tonight and want to make it a regular thing.”

“This is a really tasty, local spot. Basically a whole in the wall. Which is my favorite kind of Mexican restaurant to find. Had the steak burrito. I definitely enjoyed the beans and rice. The homemade tomatillo salsa is fantastic. If your Jones and first some good tacos or burritos, I would recommend stopping off here. Services is nice. They’re quick. The food came out hot. If you want take out they do charge an extra dollar for the service.”

“Driving from northern VA to Greensboro, The Pod came up on a coffee search, only minutes off the main highway, in Gretna, I didn't have time to stay, but the menu looks incredible, the space is beautiful and comfortable, sparkling clean, the service was so welcoming and friendly, and my coffee and the house-made pimiento cheese is pure gold. I can't wait to go back with my family.”

I had never been to this place. Never heard of it. I drive my butt out there and it's in the middle of nowhere. I walk in, jukebox is thumping, the patrons are super nice to me, the beer is cold and this place makes slamming food. After the way i was treated, I will always be a fan. “We stayed in the Hampton Inn and walked across the parking to this restaurant. Service was fine. We both had lasagna which was okay. Prices at home are higher, so this was an okay value. I would return and try a different dinner item.”

The girl at the counter was very friendly and super sweet and understanding as I ordered ice cream for myself and 3 girls. My whole family enjoyed our ice cream very much. Great stop on our way home from a 10 hour car trip.”
