“Of course if you arrive at 2 pm for lunch at a restaurant in a small town the buffet might not be available. But if that happens, just order off the menu. I had a double cheeseburger and could not have been happier. It was juicy and had the perfect proportion of cheese to burger to bread. My husband had the cheeseburger and wings combo—what a great idea—and after the first bite of the first wing said that these wings reminded him of why he first loved wings. They were big but not too big, juicy and crispy, and tossed in the right amount of delicious sauce. If we lived in Chatham we’d eat here all the time. Do not miss this place.”

“I’ve spent a lot of time on the border, growing up and living Texas for 45 years. This place is AMAZING. I would put it in the top five Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at in my life. The perfect combination of authentic ingredients and menu items. I was very surprised to find this gem in Virginia.”

“Everyday this week I have had to go to The Pod ♥️ Their Chicken & Gnocchi soup is absolutely delicious. It’s been my lunch everyday. (Im obsessed lol) I tried the Pumpkin chocolate chip muffin top with cream cheese icing, and that was also very yummy! Today I’m cold and wanted a hot coffee instead of my usual iced.. “The service was great. The restaurant was very clean and the bread was baked very nicely and tasted great and for Subway. That is one of the most important things.”

“My only problem is that they don’t take cards, and I don’t always carry cash. I like the food because I’m from NY/NJ area and finding this place is a gem since it is very similar to home. Chinese food in this part of Virginia is not so great, but these people in Gretna have come the closest. I loved it. A little on the saltier side for my preference for my bonesless spare ribs, other than that I intend to go back. I see some negative comments, from years ago, I’m not sure if they have changed management, but they are very quiet and soft spoken. Remember there is a language barrier and also a different culture. Most non americanized chinese people in restaurants come off as rude, but I think it’s just a culture thing.”
