“I’m not even sure how to lead off this review other than saying, if you’re local or traveling in for the Casino - DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. 10 out of 10. The restaurants southern charm and hospitality was extremely welcoming (I’m tattooed from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet) the owners and staff welcomed us in graciously and fed us some of the best southern cookin’ I’ve had in a very long time! This restaurant caters to alpha gal syndrome and doesn’t serve pork or beef but don’t let that set you back, the food is seasoned, cooked just right, and made with love! Hey vegetarians, this place has you covered! Tons of great options, and majority of the sides are veggie friendly! Now that you’ve read this, don’t sleep on this place and say hi to the owners, they’re awesome.”

“Just wanted to say, got a pie from you guys back in September when I was in town for Blue Ridge Rock Fest. I’m from Chicago and ever since I’ve left I cannot stop thinking about this pizza. It was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in my life. The consistency of the bread, the crust wasn’t super doughy, the cheese was melted perfectly, and with just the right amount of sauce, which wasn’t super sweet either. I must declar that if the Krusty Krab had a pizza, this would indeed be it, because this is the pizza for you and me. I’ve had several dreams about that pizza I ate in September. I would do just about anything for just one more. Please never close. I promise one day I will be back. and I will order 100 pizzas.”

“We don't get to Danville too often, but when we do, Crema and Vine is a mandatory destination. We discovered this fantastic place several years ago and have been absolutely awed by the outstanding food and the service. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of Crema and Vine is that it is a family run business, which we always try to support, and have for years. The owners, Steve and Angela truly care about their customers and we feel like family when we are there. May they continue to operate Crema and Vine for many years as the outstanding place it is.”

“We ate here Christmas Day for my sister’s 21st birthday. The service was impeccable, they sat our party of 11 immediately, they even helped me pick out a special drink for her (a large bowl with a live flame filled with a delicious pineapple drink and fruit). Not only was the service amazing, but the food was delicious! We got sushi, low mein, hibachi and seafood. Everything was delicious. This is by far the best sushi/asian food in Danville! Thank you sooo much Pangea! They went far beyond 5 stars! ⭐️”

“2/1/24 My first visit: I took my family to Captain Cook's to celebrate my father's birthday. It was a party of 13. The place was very clean and spacious! The hosts acknowledged us as soon as we walked in, and our table was available immediately! When we got to our table, I felt the air from the ceiling fan, and before I could say anything, the host already knew and turned off the fan! She was paying attention! Wow! 😊 Our waitress was very pleasant and personable, listened carefully to our requests, and was quickly accommodating. It was like she was reading our minds. And the food???? FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS! To end the evening, the price was great for the quality and quantity of food we received! We were comfortable and didn't feel rushed! Thanks to the entire Captain Cook's Staff for a great dining experience to celebrate my father's birthday. I will visit again when I'm in town! 5/5 💥”

a very rare gem in takeout/rip-off food now-a-days. It's not a 5 star sit down, not perfectly fresh -- more of a diner/dive kinda place but it excels in this category. Only fair value meal I have found in the whole area

I went the Table of an unmentionable restaurant and waited 1 hour and 52 minutes for a cheeseburger and fry that NEVER came. Celebrity restaurants can't hold their weight around here. We took our business to this tride and true establishment of which we only had to wait 17 minutes to get a burger/fry combo that I guarantee was made with pure heart and cost less than $10. Thank you for a meal that made a HANGRY lady into a satisfied one.”

“We came in today to try their new açaí bowls and I’m so glad we did! They were awesome! I had the berry crunch one with added chia seeds and honey drizzle. My sister had the tropical bowl with added ginger and peanut butter drizzle. The açaí mixture was so good and not icy or half melted like I have had at most places. I’m not sure how they make it this good but I’m so happy that offer them. Now I just wished I lived closer so I could come often :(. We come in about once every 5 to 6 weeks to visit with family. We will definitely be back to try the other varieties of açaí bowls. Great job!

“I have food allergies, which many people do! one of the things that I am allergic to is cheese. I needed to grab some lunch today on my lunch break. I am trying to eat healthier these days so, I tried to get a salad with no cheese from the Wendy’s on South Boston Road in Danville, VA and I was told... “sorry ma’am, all of our salads are pre-made and you cannot get a salad without cheese.” I guess Wendy’s is not allergy friendly and they have horrible customer service!!!! On the other hand, I went up the road to the Burger King on South Boston Road and went through the drive through and told them about my allergies and asked for a salad without cheese and they made me a fresh made-to-order salad right then and there! :) Good job BK on South Boston Road for your awesome customer service!!! :)))Guess at Burger King you can really have it your own way! :))) � � to the Wendy’s on South Boston Road.
