Everything I've tried here is awesome. The oatmeal cream pies are the real deal. The icing is true, not that whipped stabilized cream junk. I love the fact that you can walk in and grab a small donut cake for special occasions. They will make things upon request if possible, and they're always friendly. Have loved this place for decades.
Okay but not as good as Halls was
Five stars for Hall's Pastry Shop! We ordered a cookie cake for an event, and it was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the pickup process was seamless—our order was boxed up and ready to go the moment we walked in. Excellent service and great treats!

Halls Pastry Shop is a simple, straightforward, and locally owned and operated bakery. Their plain yeast dinner rolls are excellent - dense, moist, and buttery. The French cream horns are a shockingly good pastry with a delicious filling. While the front of the shop is uncomfortably small, it is very clean and well-organized.
The donuts at Halls Pastry Shop are a delight, with an amazing taste and a good size. Customers can also enjoy a selection of other pastries, including a large and customizable Texan Donut. Overall, the bakery offers high-quality products at great prices, with a friendly and helpful staff. Visitors are encouraged to try Halls Pastry Shop, but it's best to avoid Mondays as the selection may be more limited.
