These donuts ?? tasted AMAZING, and they were a good size! The only disappointment was I didn't see half the pastries that I seen on social media. I was there between 8:30 & 9am .... I was able to try a few (regular?) flavor donuts that tasted good ...so maybe another day!! . They did have a Texan Donut, that was a big one, and customizable !!

I went to Hall's yesterday to get donuts and creme filled oatmeal cookies. The donuts were dry two hours later, we had to put them in the microwave to soften them up. The oatmeal cookies has almost no creme filling, I spent almost $32.00. I've been going here for many many years and I honestly was very unsatisfied with what I bought.

I recently ordered a cake over the phone - very early in the morning to have delivered same day to a dear, long time friend (for bereavement of her lil furbaby and she was craving a chocolate layer with chocolate frosting cake) The man who answered the phone seemed very irritated and bothered by my questions and concerns. Then he handed off the call to a lady she wasn't much more pleasant - but we did get the order as I wanted accomplished and in the kitchen for preparation. It was delivered very promptly that same day as Id hoped. They always send me a picture of the cake before delivery Since ot wasn't a birthday cake I'd want celebratory balloons or anything like that on the top of the cake So I just ask for a red heart ♥ The heart was basically lopsided, one side was bigger than the other. After delivery to my friend I called and ask who decorated the cake. I was told our new cake decorator. Oy I get lots of delivery from there to friends in Danville So until now Ive never expressed my disappointment. My friend was in bereavement over her lil Yorkie passing thank goodness she either overlooked or didn't notice. But I was disappointed. She said the cake was delicious though Thank God for that - I have known Mike a long time and wondered if the bakery would still be as good (even with his recipes) ❤️ Customer service is very important to me too not only taste Now I have to say one really good thing Elizabeth that works there has always given me excellent customer service She's usually who delivers especially to my Mom and stepdad and its always been a great experience for everyone. Hope whomever the man that answers the phone early mornings has a better attitude my next phone call for an order and delivery ?I didn't not go inside so really can't rate the atmosphere.

TLDR: Overall: high quality, great prices, and friendly staff.If you haven't tried Hall's yet, run, don't walk, over there. Just not on Mondays. First of all, the place smells intoxicating and it put an immediate smile on my face as soon as I opened the door. As a bakery, I'm sure they have an extremely full set of options in the morning, but I went around 1pm and they still had a great selection to choose from. It was hard to decide, so I went a little overboard, but I'm not mad about it.I picked 2 deli options, honey sriracha chicken salad and the peppah cheese? They were both delicious smeared on the cheesy focaccia bread they cooked.I sampled the cheese crackers fresh out of the oven and it was like angels were singing in my mouth. I couldn't stop giggling.The yeast donuts are phenomenal. The glazed are bigger and more dense and filling than a Krispy Kreme, but still melt on your tongue goodness. They have an awesome selection of the other flavors, both filled and topped and they're all quite tasty. The Texas glazed donut is bigger than your head and worth it's weight in gold. Sure to brighten anyone's day with both size and taste.The cakes were nicely decorated with good options for flavors, but I was more partial to the other confections listed above.I met three staff members are they were all so nice and helpful. Friendly banter as I perused, good knowledge of the products, and genuinely seemed to care that I was there; I felt like they truly valued my business.Moral of the story, I am so looking forward to trying more of their goodies.

I didn't get a chance to try Hall's products before it changed hands 2 months ago but in the last couple of weeks I've been trying various products from Hall'sThe quality of their products is excessive.Only visiting and trying for yourself is going to validate that claim, you will not be disappointed.The rocky road pictured has a beautifully diverse texture with busting richness from the pecans it is definitely one of my favorites-It's just rich enough to stop you from eating the whole pack in one sitting, I made sure before finishing the last bite to take a photo because still.. it doesn't last long!
A friend recently gifted me some of Hall's sugar free oatmeal creme cookies, oh myyyyyy!!!!! Those cookies are BEYOND Delicious!!!! My friend stated that the cookies freeze really well. I had planned to freeze a few cookies and thus savor them over time. Well, that didn't happen, I ate the 6 of them over 4 days instead of freezing them. I am looking forward to my next trip into town stopping by Hall's for more cookies. I plan to purchase enough to enjoy AND freeze for later.

They made me feel valuable. They acted like they appreciated my business. Called to see what kind of cakes that they had. The lady was very short and didn’t seemed as if she wanted to help me out. I asked about coconut cake, lemon. She replied that they do bake in Saturdays and I would choose something like a birthday cake. The only flavor was yellow cake mix with icing. I was very disturbed by the lady and the fact that she wasn’t trying to satisfy me, a customer. She was not professional by no means. It’s 8:38 am and she wasn’t wanting to make a fresh flavored cake. Sadly I will not be going there ever. I thought that business aimed to please their customers. I was wrong?

I tried to give this place a try yesterday 3/21 and they just had a bunch of empty trays and no product despite still being open a couple more hrs. Also the older lady working the counter came to the front and back to the back twice before even speaking to us and had a very unfriendly attitude. Wouldn't go back even if they weren't going out of buisness.

My husband works at the hospital up here in Martinsville and brought home 2 containers of cupcakes, I already ate two the prettiest best cupcakes! Had to put them put of my sight or I’d eat both containers I said hey where did these come from he goes oh a bakery on Piney Forest road I said yep I know exactly which one! Delicious!!
