“Whoever Shirley T is outdid herself 🤣 as soon as we pulled up and could smell the food from outside, we knew it was going to be good. There was a taller gentleman working there who was so so nice, I didn’t catch his name. I was quite overwhelmed with all their options(solely because everything looked good) BUT there is something there for everyone. The food was delicious. Specifically, the Mac & cheese was 10/10. We will return next time we come to VA.“

“This place has some of the best cheeseburgers and hotdogs along with bbq. Im sure there’s other good things but im stuck on them 3 items lol. Crinkle cut fries are good too but if you like your fries with a crisp like me then make sure you tell them extra crispy because they come a little on the soft side at regular order. Milkshakes are also good and im more vanilla but my wife likes the pumpkin shake. This place does get packed at times but it’s worth it if you can get a seat.“

“Absolutely delicious homemade cheeseburger made fresh to order and french fries are out of this world good. My first time dining at Ruben's Too but it won't be the last. Friendly folks, great service and delicious food you just can't get any better than that, so thanks goes out to the Ruben Too Crew.

“Probably one of the most down to earth wholesome places I have been in the United States. Food was great. I could explain but this post would be so long because I ordered too much and ate it all. If I travel that way again I'll stop and probably drive a little out of my way to go again it was so good.“

“We’ve never had such an amazing experience than we did at the River District Social. The universe tried to curtail our Christmas event for Milltown Saloon & Spirits but Richard went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect along with Davis being the absolute best. Giving River District and their staff a recommendation wouldn’t be enough as no one could ask for more an amazing place.“

“I was a bit skeptical due to the rating this restaurant have on here. It was so opposite! The cashier girl was very nice and patient as my party took our time reading the menu. We got 3 smashburgers and a brisket sandwich. We waited for about 10 mins or so and got our food. It was delicious! Loved the fries! Crunchy and good!! The price was a bit on the expensive side but it is inside casino so that was a given. Overall will eat here again. Just get free soda from the bar b4 coming here as soda bottle was $6!“

“I have been coming here since 2009 when I moved to Danville. I specifically like Friday's special because it is the only place that serves fresh roasted turkey (not deli-style). The meatloaf and pot roast are devine. The vegetables are so good. Thank you, Danview, for serving us real food. 😋😋😋😋😋“

“Traveling thru Va and stopped at Cotton after reading reviews. Outdoor balcony overlooked the Dan River and walking trail. Service was excellent and our server checked back frequently. Cocktails and appetizers were excellent, especially the Clams Casino. Highly recommend.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our daughter and now son-in-law at Golden Leaf Bistro and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a group of about 30 people and chose a buffet-style dinner, which was perfect. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful and intimate.
Nicole, our waitress, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all evening. Natalie, the manager, went above and beyond. She even called the evening before to check in with us to see if we needed anything or wanted to make changes due to the impending weather, which we truly appreciated.
The service, communication, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to host such a special event. Highly recommend!“

“This is my second time dining in. We hit it when we come back from Florida. Great place. Great food. The staff has always been helpful and quick to answer questions. Even though we came in about an hour to an hour and a half before closing, the staff was accommodating, and personable. The easy going atmosphere and good food were just what was needed to hit the road for another hour.“
