“Whoever Shirley T is outdid herself 🤣 as soon as we pulled up and could smell the food from outside, we knew it was going to be good. There was a taller gentleman working there who was so so nice, I didn’t catch his name. I was quite overwhelmed with all their options(solely because everything looked good) BUT there is something there for everyone. The food was delicious. Specifically, the Mac & cheese was 10/10. We will return next time we come to VA.“

“This place has some of the best cheeseburgers and hotdogs along with bbq. Im sure there’s other good things but im stuck on them 3 items lol. Crinkle cut fries are good too but if you like your fries with a crisp like me then make sure you tell them extra crispy because they come a little on the soft side at regular order. Milkshakes are also good and im more vanilla but my wife likes the pumpkin shake. This place does get packed at times but it’s worth it if you can get a seat.“

“Absolutely delicious homemade cheeseburger made fresh to order and french fries are out of this world good. My first time dining at Ruben's Too but it won't be the last. Friendly folks, great service and delicious food you just can't get any better than that, so thanks goes out to the Ruben Too Crew.

“Wow definitely a new favorite spot in Danville, Va!!! We started the morning here for breakfast and that was so delicious we decided to come back for lunch. The lunch was just as delicious and amazing!! I will most definitely be a regular here!!!“

“We’ve never had such an amazing experience than we did at the River District Social. The universe tried to curtail our Christmas event for Milltown Saloon & Spirits but Richard went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect along with Davis being the absolute best. Giving River District and their staff a recommendation wouldn’t be enough as no one could ask for more an amazing place.“

“We went to Three stacks in Danville on the 4th of July. The food was delicious also the staff was amazing especially the chef. They did not give us one of the burgers and the chef brought out to us at no additional charge. I think the location and atmosphere are amazing.“

“Traveling thru Va and stopped at Cotton after reading reviews. Outdoor balcony overlooked the Dan River and walking trail. Service was excellent and our server checked back frequently. Cocktails and appetizers were excellent, especially the Clams Casino. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary as a treat on 7/3. It was an experience, the legendary beef Wellington was enjoyable, but a little bit more on the rare side than expected. While I got the fish and chips, which was okay but difficult to enjoy as the breading fell apart anytime I went to cut it.

We appreciated the parked rolls as an appetizer, it’s a sweeter bread and not the traditional expected honey butter. For a side we shared some Mac and cheese and suggest to share sides as they are big enough for two.

The menu was recently changed about two weeks ago so that was disappointing. The management was sparsely apparent, but staff seemed friendly and worked well with one another. We were sat in the the bar area, which was a little crowded, and we would have appreciated the main dining room, given we made a reservation as well as mentioned we were celebrating. The bar area didn’t feel as intimate and more of an atmosphere of an Applebee’s with people walking up taking seats at the bar and watching games.

Our waitress Brittany was okay, and chipper. But we saw more hard work from Nyjuan. We don’t know his position, but Nyjuan we saw several times throughout our meal, he has a great work ethic and was seen cleaning tables, offering to take plates, refilling the house water bottles by the bar, resetting tables, filling guests water, and was pleasant to speak with providing honest recommendations not just pushing the menu highlights.
Nyjuan was a hard working back of house or supporting staff we saw him working hard or running around more then any other staff or management. He shared he is aspiring to be a waiter one day and I think he would make a great one as not only a hard working staff member, but also enthusiastic about the restaurant service, and friendly.“

for amazing food! We had the ribs, steak, grilled chicken wings, Italian bistro sandwich and brownie and ice cream for the kids’ dessert. Everything we ate was truly delicious! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone passing thru! Clean environment, nice atmosphere, good sized bar in the center of restaurant, clean bathrooms and friendly service. Altogether we spent about $130 but definitely worth every penny!“
