Traveling thru Va and stopped at Cotton after reading reviews. Outdoor balcony overlooked the Dan River and walking trail. Service was excellent and our server checked back frequently. Cocktails and appetizers were excellent, especially the Clams Casino. Highly recommend.
Very neat old building, no wait to get in with a reservation. Waitress was not the best but she did get us our food and drinks. The hot honey hush puppies were great, the blackened chicken Alfredo was bland. Overall would eat there again.
The server was not friendly nor happy we were there even after we shared it was our anniversary. O well, we guess everybody has a bad day occasionally, but not at an upscale restaurant.
