Cotton has great food. The drinks and food are both fun and delicious. I really enjoy the shrimp and grits, but also like the roasted chicken. Brussel sprouts appetizer is just right. Food comes out a little slow, but worth it.Dietary restrictions: They offer several gf options.

Ordered salmon and risotto and a large chicken salad. All the food was excellent. Service great. One complaint, the salmon was a decent serving. However no vegetable on plate. We asked and the server stated to cut cost they took off the veggie. Plate looked bare!We will come back but that was a bit disappointing. No bread, vo veggie ....The salad was a good size.

Everything was very good. A few dishes are overpriced, but some are big enough to share.

I enjoyed my dining experience at cotton restaurant. Food was hot and fresh out the kitchen. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It's a little spicy because of the sausage. Very delicious.

I was disappointed after being seated to find out we could only choose our meal from a special Valentine’s menu package at $65 per person. We’ve had reservations for over three weeks and it was too late to go else where. There was no notice online or at the door. We saw others leave. Cost was one issue, but dietary restrictions was the big issue. Otherwise, we had a good meal.Dietary restrictions: The special menu being used did not allow for choice, such as fries vs mashed potatoes bc of dairy restrictions.

From out of town and in Danville for a few days. My small group of 3 went to Cotton on a recommendation, and overall it was good and I would go again. However, I ordered a rare steak and it came out well done, they did make another that came out great. And while my friend didn't send theirs back he said, "I'm not going to lie, my fish is a little over done and dry"The rest was great. With the fish there was a lovely risotto, the desserts were awesome, drinks were very good, our server was very on point, so on. But I would be remiss to give them a perfect score while missing on key factors like the temperature of the steak and overcooking the fish. Overall though, good flavor profiles.

We took my mom to eat for her birthday tonight. The service was great as well as the three kinds of pizza we had. Another person in our party had salmon and she said it was excellent. Give them a try.

We came in for out of town to visit the casino. Wanted a nice meal to start our day. Found Cotton at Riverside Mill and it sounded perfect. We were seated quickly at a booth that was crammed up against a wall and too small, we moved to a table near the window, which was much better. Our waiter came right over, took our drink order. Drink came and we ordered our meals. Two of us had a salad , the other two ordered a sandwich. 30 minutes later, one salad arrived. In a few minutes, another salad arrived. Five more minutes one sandwich arrived. Now the last person was without food. We asked about his sandwich and they admitted they had to remake it because they accidentally prepared it wrong. His meal came easily ten minutes later. The fries we undercooked and his sandwich was lackluster at best. The chef came over to apologize for the long wait. Must have been pretty common practice because he wasn’t bothered. Two salads and two sandwiches. An hour and a half. $50 plus tip per couple. Too slow to consider coming back.Poor service , if it continues, will kill this venue.
