They have a menu online and then charge you a different price at window. The board outside is not readable and needs to be changed or updated. I give it a -1!
Great, tasty food at decent value prices! I had a great meal there, and would absolutely eat there again. The chicken is delicious.

Golden Skillet is a charming restaurant with a great selection of food. The delicious dishes make it worth a visit, despite some mixed experiences with the service. The shrimp basket dinner and fish dinner are highly recommended, along with the always delicious and juicy fried chicken. The mashed potatoes with chicken gravy are absolutely delicious, and the burgers are praised as the best in Danville. The peach cobbler remains a must-try for dessert lovers. Although the restaurant could use some cleaning and appears a little run down, the staff is generally friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and hot, making it a great place to stop by for a meal in VA.
