We arrived at 1:15 on Tuesday 7/29 and there was nobody there for the tasting room. Google, their website, and their voicemail which i called but never got anyone to pick up all said they were open. Seemed like a nice place but we left disappointed and thirsty.
Edit: We spoke with the owner via phone that afternoon. And they made everything right by us quickly. The wines were delicious, and we had a lovely visit the next day.

I love Homeplace! From the events to just a regular day on the porch, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I love the Strawberry Wine! We try to come to Flip Flop Fridays when we’re in town and my kids have a blast.

Family owned and managed vineyard. Beautiful setting with rich history. The tobacco barn tasting room with stone fireplace and huge wraparound porch is so inviting and you’ll love the history around it. This place is definitely worth a drive into the country.

Great people, great vibe, lovely wines and fun events! They offer many varieties for all types of wine drinkers. A beautiful gem located in between Danville and Lynchburg and a family run establishment. Only an hour from Raleigh/Durham and a perfect place to host events and weddings. Don’t sleep on this place!!
