Although this gas station has been on the corner of Kempsville and Butts Station Road for a long time it shut down for nearly a year before being re-modeled and re-badged as a 7-11. Unlike most 7-11's you can't tell from the outside that it's actually a 7-11 on the inside. With three 7-11s within a 1/4 mile of each other, I think the company is trying to take over the hot dog, soda, gas, coffee, doughnut, cigs and beer world. Typical Exxon with a large number of pumps and a car wash. While on a major intersection it isn't conveniently located as you have to make a tight u turn to go north or try crossing several lanes of traffic. Snacks, sundries are available. Gas prices higher than WAWA and 7-11 which are right down the street.

I've been to this 7-11 many times and I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.It's interesting how they are so competitive with the Wawa across the street with gasoline prices. As one goes (up or down) the other is sure to follow. The ease is ingress and egress makes this store better for most people. You can turn right into it while the Wawa requires you to make a bunch of turns to enter the parking lot.
