Washed dishes here on veterans day last year and work 11 solid hours non stop no lunch or slacker rests and washed dishes for over 1000 people. The servers here are quick team players that pitch in and put away dishes. They are hardworkers and making work in a restaurant enjoyable. The cooks are happy to hook you up with a hearty steak or double burger with broccoli and red mashed potatoes

I haven't been to an Applebee's in years because the last time I went it was not that great... this time I went to the Grassfield location and lemme tell you... it hit the spot! I had the steak sirloin with garlic green beans and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly, the green beans were so juicy and delicious and they even got the mashed potatoes tasting right! I'm impressed with such an underrated American restaurant!

Avoid this location. Placed an order on line for curbside pick up. I get to the location and surprise surprise the number that you call to tell them you have arrived simply states they are busy and to call back. No matter how many times you call back, the message says the same thing. Now there is a line of people waiting at the door for an employee to come out. People are honking their car horns and screaming. Terrible way to handle business.

This place has gone downhill fast! Tell why it takes 2 1/2 hours to make wings!?!?! The food had gone downhill too. I WOULD NOT recommend this Applebees to anyone right now. Come on Applebees. Get your crap together!

Went to Applebee's for lunch, and Jennifer our server was great!!! The food was amazing and my Red Apple Sangria was perfect!!! So glad we decided to try a different location. Last week's visit to the Applebee's in Elizabeth City almost ruined our opinion of our favorite neighborhood grille.

I went last night after a terrible experience a few months ago, praying it would be better. It was 715 when we were seated. We ordered by 725. At 830, the cup of soup came...cold. That was just one person's appetizer and it was an hour wait!!! Finally about 10ish minutes later, over an hour after ordering, and having to speak with a manager, we got our food. You would think with the long wait that the food would have been hot. Nope. Cold....we picked at what we could because we were sick of being there and I told them I was NOT paying for it and because it took so long I did not want to wait for them to recook. We picked at it since the kids needed to go to bed and i didnt have time to get them another meal somewhere else. Not a single person had hot food and my rice had sat so long it was hard. I cant believe how terrible this applebees has gotten. Never ever again!!!
This used to be a really place to go. Not sure what happened, but this restaurant isn't as good as it once was. The food isnt as good, the place needs to be cleaned, and the service is EXTREMELY slow. Recommend management get changed and get more staff on the site to help service improve.

It applebees... I mean you know what your getting food wise. Here's what I have to say about this location: we drove over 40 minutes to eat here for my birthday dinner with family. I was so excited to try the new menu items they had been advertising on TV for weeks. There was 5 of us. The food was cold, meals came out wrong and we were over charged because the waiter enter the wrong menu items after he repeated them correctly. There is nothing wrong with writing down the order except if you get it wrong because you didn't write it down! We expressed our concern as and the waiter had the manager fix the bill but no one came over and spoke to us about the experience. I feel like this might be the norm at this location.

The experience there last night was horrible. When ever we needed something she forgot (she was bartender). Our silverware was dirty and when I pointed that out she kinda got a lil attitude and returned with to go plastic ware. She was loud and ghetto. Don't get me wrong I get ghetto from time to time but as a server in a restaurant is not the place. We got the all you can eat ribs and shrimp. After the first small plate for the refill they gave us one rib and 3 shrimp. I use to love this location but I don't think I will return.
