Arbor Sub & Pub

I’ve had their French dip before and it was great, this time there was a ribbon of either a tendon/ligament or something in the beef that could not be cut or chewed. Trying to take a bite the sub was ripped apart pulling on the beef and the bread arrived soggy. Not typical, but still a let down.

My kinda place. Get's a lil rowdy sometimes. The staff and regulars always handle it accordingly. Friday trashcans are a must.

Ordered a sandwich through Grubhub. Their menu on the Grubhub site for the Turkey melt is incorrect so when I got my order, the sandwich had ingredients on it that were not on the menu. I called the restaurant and was told that they could not do anything about it and that I needed to contact Grubhub. They did not offer any assistance or even say sorry for the wrong order. It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure that their menu on delivery sites is correct. It is not the customer’s responsibility to just know that their menu is incorrect. After this experience, I will not order any future food from this restaurant.

The arbor has been in Deep Creek for as long as I’ve been alive. The food is tasty. Drinks are good. Prices and specials are great. Great little lunch spot with the family or great bar spot for evening drinks and relaxing.

We had a great time visiting friends while on vacation and they were great. Food was spectacular and the service was backed up but worth it. They moved tables together to accommodate our crowd. Big servings and great taste.

The arbor has the best meatball subs ive ever had. I like the bbq too. I would recommend anyone to eat there. Its a great friendly place.

No need for this place to have the option for online ordering ahead. Receive an email stating a 25 min wait after making my order, only to come 30 minutes later and be told another 8 to 10 minutes. I was courteous and respectable, yet the cook decided to add "grease to the fire" by just rambling on, adding "there's nothing we can do" in one breath along with chatterboxing about something else. (The place was dead, FYI).

I told the cashier to give my food away, as I had to be at my second job, and if I could give 0 stars, I would.

Just disappointed, I expect more out of local businesses in the Deep Creek corridor. Times have changed.
