We came for the first time we go out to eat a lot and wanted to try a good pizza place. When we got there and checked in with the hostess we told her we had a party of 7 and she got a huge attitude with us saying “7!? 7 people?!” “That’s going to be a really long wait”, she was really rude about it like she didn’t want us to stay. We told her we didn’t mind waiting and sat down. While we were sitting she loudly told the other hostesses that the last customer only left her $7 and she was really mad about it then approached us two more times telling us it was going to be a long wait and do we really want to wait. Finally we just told her no, you guys must not like making money and we left. She made it clear she did not want us to stay and we will not be back. It is a shame because I’m sure the food would have been good.

Don’t order anything other than pizza. Pizza is great. Everything else is lacking including the person taking delivery orders. First of all menu prices on the website are wrong. Second of all pasta dishes are the same price with or without salad and garlic bread. The call taker has no clue and would lead you to believe it cheaper without salad and bread. Third call taker has no attention to detail and more than once has given out the wrong information on items. ONCE AGAIN PIZZA ONLY AND KEEP IT SIMPLE OR IT WILL BE LIKE HERDING CATS !!!!!!

Pizza had no flavor. Garlic knots were tough. Only two wings option: spicy or very spicy. Means they’re not done there.

Picked up 9 pizzas from Baba's today for one of my client's facility departments. The pizzas were hot, fresh and looked amazing - and tasted even better! The owner and staff were super friendly and clearly take pride in both their food and service. The pizzas were a bit hit!

Amazing NY pizza, best in the area. I grew up in Brooklyn and this is as good as back home.

Best pizza I've had in all of Hampton Roads.

We love Bubba’s pizza. They have the thinnest crust that is so delicious and crunchy. And their calzones are delicious too. If you haven’t tried it you should probably try it. Just check their schedule cause they’re not open a lot during the day.

We went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It’s a small restaurant, looks like they may be renovating or repainting inside. The hostess was nice, told us to choose any booth we wanted, there was no wait and too busy.

My husband ordered pizza and I ordered BBQ chicken cheesesteak. The sandwich did not come with a side- an order of fries was $7, which seems a bit steep.

The pizza was good, nice thin crust and not overcooked.
I didn’t care for their BBQ sauce and didn’t finish the sandwich.

The fries did not have any seasoning on them, not event salt. It was a large portion, which was too much as a side with a sandwich.

We noticed a sign stating there was a 3% surcharge if using credit cards, as well as a tip bucket for the hostess. This is a small, casual diner and we basically seated ourselves; a hostess tip bucket seemed inappropriate. We prefer to dine at restaurants that do not charge a surcharge for credit cards. Credit card fees are a part of doing business these days- they could probably charge a little more and make up their fees that way, but the food prices here were already above average.

Overall, we might try this place again, but probably only stick to the pizza.

Pizza was amazing. I had the pepperoni and mushroom. The price was a little up there but such is life. It was well worth it

Baba's is a small, local business that prioritizes quality and service over decor, to great success. It's a local favorite, but we usually manage to get a seat.
