I’ve been a Tropical Smoothie fan for so long. However, the quality of smoothie has went down over the years. Big Island Smoothie has great smoothies and fast service. I’ll definitely be back!!!

When I walked up, the owner, an older gentleman was cutting up a fresh pineapple and putting it into a container. That impacted me, because it made me feel like my smoothie was going to be made with freshly purchased and cut fruit instead of something frozen or that has been out all week. I ordered a smoothie and added banana to it as a personal preference because I prefer the taste of it and the smoothness it gives smoothies. Depending on what you get, it may or not be cheaper than TS, but it DEFINITELY tastes fresher. I did not add protein because they only had whey, but I did get energizer added. The smoothie was so delicious. I have a morning class at the gym and I will definitely be coming here every week after class.
