I am here on a business trip. I was all hyped up about getting their Chicken Rosemary Wings and their Greek Pizza. I walked in and saw that the cooks are not wearing masks.Needless to say, I left without the food. The hostess told me that only front employees are required to wear masks.

Had a wonderful time here having lunch with my significant other. Staff was very attentive, place was extremely clean and our server was very pleasant! I got the lunch special for the $9 and it was a great portion! Caesar salad was fresh and the dressing was yummy! The sausage and spicy honey pizza was amazing and I was extremely impressed! The Lemonade was so thirst quenching ? we’ll definitely be back again!

Excellent specialty pizzas made with creativity and fresh. We enjoyed Brixx while on vacation for dinner one evening. So many choices that we had dinner there a second time as well. Excellent service and food!

Attempted to broaden Chesapeake after-work horizons in search of pizza, craft draft beer, and Covid phase 1 friendly outdoor seating. Coworker and I were the only patrons on drizzly Fri; on entry, we awkwardly strolled to the bar (no host/hostess, no instructional signage), ordered food and drinks "for here", then carried our bevs to an outdoor table. Our server surfaced three times: brought food, brought bill, brought receipt. No offer for more drinks or water or napkins. No "how's everything?" Speaking of, if it wasn't for the draft beer selection, this would probably be a 2-2.5. All pizzas are 11" personal size, basically the size of a medium sized dinner plate. They offer a $9 special ($8 for Yelp check-ins) featuring half of any salad and half of any pizza on the menu. The crust texture on my half pizza was good with a nice hint of bottom char from the brick oven; however, the sauce overpowered the pie, especially with lackluster ingredients, making it a tad soggy overall. Salad wasn't memorable, essentially nothing to write home about, especially after waiting 40 minutes to get our orders as the only customers on prem. Considering the 5 star quality/experience I receive from BAKEHOUSE at Chelsea in Norfolk, I can't envision a return trip to Brixx. Sure, operating during Covid presents logistical challenges, but there are too many other places to frequent/try.

Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had with Brixx. And we usually love them! Let's start with the fact that they don't have any indication on their door via a sign that they open at noon rather than 11 for carry out on Saturday. Only after you place an order do you get a confirmation of time an hour past what was estimated. Ordered whole wheat roasted veggie and the Americo. They also aren't making whole wheat pizzas now. Anyway... So my husband called to order and lo and behold, they open at 12 but they'll "make a special exception for him since he's right there waiting." They do bring it out to the vehicle with gloves and masks which is a good thing. Got home to a normal sized veggie, a miniaturized americo with some kind of wood splinter baked in - both raw. I'm currently cooking my own pizza a 2nd time. I'm no heartless person. I'm unemployed right now and I know the restaurant industry is struggling, which is why we still try to order out once or twice a week to support the businesses we like. But at least communicate your changes proactively and cook your food! It'll be a long time, if ever, before we return.

I ordered the Arugula & Pear salad it was wonderful but very little for the price that I paid. I also ordered my son the buffalo wings and they weren't cooked that well and one of the flat pieces had a piece of hair on it!!! Disgusting!! Only reason that I gave two stars was because of the salad.

So I'm out of town on business and always like to try places I'm not familiar with and this place caught my eye and I decided to try it. The pizza was ok, could use a little more pop in the sauce and the crust dough could be a little crispier ( but that's my preference) but the real killer for me was the service from the staff mainly the bartender who was a 100% certified a****** with no customer service training, had a attitude the second I sat down and did his best to ignore me as I sat there patiently waiting for him to ask me what I would like to drink or even offer me a menu and for this reason alone I will never go back.

Last time here, we were totally distracted by the gathering of employees at the end of the bar near the kitchen entrance. Why? Because our service was really bad anchored by the bartender giving attention to her staff 'friends' while our pizzas just sat on the counter... cut to tonight: A call in order, both pizzas did not have the requested toppings SO... the order was delayed several minutes while they added the extra toppings (veggies & sausage)...on TOP of pizzas that are now luke warm. That's not how you serve 'quality' pizzas! Brixx being on a continued downward slide, there are TOO many pizza joints close by (in the 23320 area) to continue to patronage this spot. Bye Brixx! You all were the joint for years!
Bartender Jazz was great. She was busy but still was absolutely outstanding. What this score came down to was my order. I specified well done and received half cooked pizza. I will be back for Jazz just not the food

Pizza was meh. Went with a group of work friends and everyone was fine with the pizza but said the wings were the best. I would spend my $11 at Pizza hut over this place. Service was pretty good.

Pizza was decent good crust they made it pretty fast. I liked it. I also got a brixx salad that was just ok simple greens with ricotta cheese I think it also had pistachios.

So far I've only tried the pizza. Chicken Florentine to be exact, and OMG it was amazing! Thin crust, authentic with fresh toppings. Next time my bf and I will get two bc of it only being 11" in size. I can't wait to try more of what Brixx has to offer!!
