Wife and I went in for lunch and were seated right away. Sat for 5 minutes and were not greeted by our server. A couple that came in and were seated after use had their drink order taken, brought out and were giving their food order, but we still had not seen our server. After a total of being there 10 minutes we left. First and last time ever going there.

I am writing to address an issue I had with a recent order at the Portsmouth location in Chesapeake Square Mall.
The problem I encountered with a recent order for the Chicken and Shrimp Chipotle Pasta for myself and my sister.
When we opened the order at home, we found that the dish only contained chicken and no shrimp. I called the store, and the manager instructed me to return the order for a replacement, which I did. However, upon receiving the remake, we found that it was only half the portion size of the original meal—essentially, the chef appeared to have split one full dish into two smaller portions, rather than properly preparing two separate orders.
As a loyal customer, I have never experienced service like this before, and the entire situation was very frustrating. Not only did I have to return to the store twice, but the second attempt still did not resolve the issue. I called the store again, and at that point, the manager, Brooke, asked if I had taken pictures of the order. I did, and I am happy to share those images with you as an attachment.
The total cost of the meal was $40.28, and I feel that the value and quality of the service did not meet my expectations. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter.

I picked up an order to go on 11-10-24, the food tasted okay enough, but I've been dealing with food poisoning since last night. If you're okay risking food poisoning then the place is okay, but I can never recommend going to this location. I spoke with a co-worker and was told that my experience is far from unique here.

Literally atmosphere is what you make of it...pretty neat chain bar/restaurant type deal. Service: They were slow and not very busy at all. So slow! Brought the food and just kept bringing plates until we ran out of room....so I stacked it up to try to help literally put it at the end of the table and they still left it. ? Food: I heard really good things about this. My mom got the same dish she gets multiple times. This was my first time here. I got what she got. My mom does not do spicy. This dish came out super spicy...almost to the point of inedible. She goes its never spicy....and she asked about it. According to the manager the recipe has always been the same? My daughter got a kids mac and cheese...I got a side of Mac and cheese. Wouldn't you know they are the same size, even our waitress had to double check that? However, one is upcharged way more! 6 bucks for 4 ounces of Mac and cheese (no sides added to kids meal)..but the side dish mac is literaly the same. My 6 year old said it wasn't very cheesy and was still hungry. This was truly pathetic. All in all I spent time with my family and enjoyed the company. Will I be back to this place? Probably not. We did bring up the issues to the manager who, when asked for took 20 min to even get there and the proceeded to tell us that everything has been the same as it always has. To each their own...my mom has been there numerous times....she always loved it and now she won't be going back either. The price and quality just were not there. Disappointing.

My family went last night to celebrate a birthday. My daughter & I ordered Monte Cristo took one bite and didn’t like it. The manager told us we still had to pay for it, it was store policy! If so, then the customer needs to be told in advance or have it posted. High end restaurant don’t even mk you pay for what you don’t like! I usually enjoy Bubba’s, but this visit was unsatisfactory! This was so unfair & disappointing! I won’t be returning!

Very clean , fast service and very professional staff
Super disappointed in my food this trip. Normally I enjoy going to Bubba’s but this trip was definitely disappointing. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was burnt as you can see. Flavor was horrible. I did order an app and drink and both of those were great!!

The food was awesome. The service ok. One of the managers greeted the table to make sure that all was well and stated that he was available if we had questions or needed anything. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Bubba's is not a family oriented restaurant. Neither is it equipped to handle families with handicapped wheelchair customers. The restaurant manager is nasty and uncompromising. Our family of 11 with 2 wheelchair handicapped people got up and left after the female manager was so rude and uncompromising. Music is too loud and not conducive to conversational eating. We will never go back again.
