Usually I would recommend this place as we order from them at least twice a month. However, this is the second time in a row they have served our family day-old guacamole and lukewarm burritos. The burritos can be warmed up, but sadly we can’t do anything about the guacamole. It has to be thrown away.
Little hole in the wall burrito place.. effing delicious everytime I come to chesapeake I crave this
I can’t say enough about this incredible hidden gem! The food is so consistently amazing that I didn’t even get a chance to snap photos of my California burrito, carne asada burrito, carne asada fries—or the carne asada quesadilla, which was just as unforgettable.
There’s something special about this place—maybe it’s the sign on the wall proudly stating they don’t even own a can opener because everything is locally sourced. Whatever it is, this spot is a true Chesapeake treasure. The flavors instantly took me back to my days living in San Diego!
2nd time they made my order wrong. Ordered a burrito with pork and steak. Once again they made it with steak and chicken. It was ok but I always get their pork and biting into a burrito with chicken and not pork, very disappointing.
The ABSOLUTE BEST CALIFORNIA BURRITO!!!
we drive 40min for it, charred chunks of steak, crispy fries, fresh gauc...massive portion if you order a regular. Free chips and salsa as you wait...it's a must try
love coming here, always great food. when my boys are in town they always ask to come here
A non-vegan told me about his favorite burrito joint, and he laughed about it being in a gas station. I never went to try it until I stumbled across their food truck at a brewery. I love their stuff (vegan). My husband and step son love their stuff (carnivore). It’s really hard to find restaurants in Chesapeake with options for all of us. Don’t let the gas station deter you.
Waste of money and not authentic at all. We recently moved to the neighborhood and were excited to try Burrito Perdido, as it came highly recommended. My husband brought home a giant steak burrito for us to share, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Every bite I took was filled with inedible cartilage pieces, and at one point, I even bit into a piece with an artery, which was beyond unappetizing. After five bites, I had to stop eating altogether as every bite I had to spit out.....
I called the restaurant to ask about the cut of meat used, and while the person I spoke with wasn't sure, they did acknowledge that what I described didn't sound normal and suggested trying the chicken burrito instead. Honestly, the experience really grossed me out, and I'm so disappointed.
Always so awesome! The staff is quick and productive, I never wait more than 10 minutes!
The food was HORRIBLE the portion size was ridiculous it didn’t hardly fill the tortilla and it was cold like it had been sitting out all day. The pico was mushy and the tortilla was crumpling. I don’t usually post reviews but this had to be done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND PLEASE DO NOT TIP!!! I would like to add this was from the food truck not the restaurant

Food wasn’t bad but the steak tasted like it was marinated in soy sauce which ruined the flavor
Although this place is a little on the pricey side, the food is ABSOLUTELY worth it (quality and quantity)!!! I have tried most things in the menu and haven’t ate something I didn’t like! My all time favorite is the California burrito. This place is definitely a hidden gem 💎 every time I’m in the area I stop in 😊
Good food!
You can't get a better burrito then this. Best burrito I ever have whoever put that 1 star review just had a bad day this restrount is the best.
This West Coast-style burrito is a flavor-packed delight! Stuffed with fresh ingredients like perfectly grilled carne asada, zesty pico de gallo, and melted cheese, it delivers a satisfying blend of textures and flavors. The soft yet sturdy tortilla keeps everything neatly wrapped, capturing the essence of California-style cuisine. Generously portioned and deeply satisfying, it’s a must-try for burrito enthusiasts craving authentic West Coast vibes. The spicy salsa elevates the experience even further.
