I would highly recommend Crystal. She did an amazing job with our wedding cake. It looked incredible and it tasted absolutely gorgeous…so much so we didn’t get to take any home at the end.
Crystal was also very helpful if I had any questions and really took on board the vision I had for our cake.
We are already thinking about whose birthday is next so we can get another cake.

We met Crystal 2 years ago at a wedding fayre and have been so excited about our wedding cake since then. Crystal is a miracle worker. She made us the most beautiful wedding cake that we have had nothing but amazing comments about. The top tier we chose was spiced Apple, which is what had us sold the minute we tasted it.
By the time we got to the wedding cake to have some, it was all gone... so our guests clearly loved the tip tier as much as we did.
The other flavours, white chocolate and Raspberry and Salted Caramel were also stunning.
Crystal is very communicative, she gave us exactly what we asked for. The cake was moist, and not sickly sweet like some cakes can be.

This was incredibly disappointing. Not sure how she gets business when she can't even respond to potential customers.

Cakes by Crystal knocked it out of the park yet again. We got a cake and cupcakes for our daughters birthday and it was a huge success. Kids and parents loved it. I had to call dibs on the last cupcake so I could have one. All the parents asked for her info for future orders.

Crystal made the cake for my mother-in-laws surprise birthday party. She was very responsive and professional and the cake was such a hit. Not only did it look just like the photo that I provided for reference, it tasted great too! The cost was also very, very reasonable. All around, I was very happy with the final product and would not hesitate to use her if in the area!
I was supposed to go by and pick up samples, I lost track of time and missed the pickup. That’s my fault and not her problem. But I never from then on received any response to voicemails left, or any of the emails I sent. My last email asking if there was no longer an opportunity/interest to complete my cake for my wedding. Complete radio silence. I used her for my first wedding and she was phenomenal but this is truly upsetting for one small mistake to be completely ignored and not communicated to. Which is sad considering she does a great job otherwise.

When we did our tasting, we had chosen 3 different vendors - something everyone told us was a mistake as we would have to many choices and it would be hard to narrow down. And while each and every bakery was delicious - at the end of the day, there simply was no contest - we had 7 people at the tasting with us - and EVERY SINGLE PERSON hands down selected Crystal as the best of the best. Her attention to detail, her willingness to make the design my daughter wanted work for us within our budget, and the amazing moist, delicious, and beautiful cake she created to fit our vision - every step was beyond perfect. The compliments we received throughout the reception are only a tiny testament to the truly wonderful experience we had working with Crystal. I simply cannot recommend highly enough, it was pure joy!
